ran the new "nemesis fix" and it still crashed and closes prematurely like OSTIM subs on first run.. Nemesis is stupid. 2nd run and the great Windows "Not Responding".. great.
Move the Nemesis folder before you start so it generates all new files, works good on 22.000+ animations on my end when i started doing that each time I added a mod that needed to re-run Nemesis using this fix.
Lifesaver for me, finally went to AE 1.6.7xx whatever and been updating, rebuilding and re-downloading my entire 1.5.97 Skyrim setup over the past few days. Deleted the entire MO2 modfolder with mods still in their from 2011 and a ton of uninstalled mods I forgot what they even were :-) 320gb cleaned and free 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nemesis kept crashing on me however even with the trial and error taskmanager fix untill I found this little gem.
1 tip though for everyone still crashing despite verifiying everything is installed correctly (And up to date/version correct mods)
Just move the entire Nemesis folder and back it up somewhere before you run Nemesis. This fixed Nemesis crashing at X% despite this Nemesis fix, my best guess is that Nemesis just does not like overwritting it's own previously generated files.
Perhaps this is already mentioned somewhere in the tons of comments about Nemesis and crashes, but it does not matter anyway what's in that folder, there is nothing in that folder that does not get regenerated anyway each time you run Nemesis, so move it before you run and just delete it when it updated.
Back it up for safekeeping so you can just roleback when a new mod requiring Nemesis turns out not to work on your modlist or breaks nemeis generation, delete the cullprit and move the previous Nemesis folder back and play.
No matter what I did, it kept crashing. I deleted Nemesis and reinstalled it. It worked. However, I saw the note ERROR(1166): BUG FOUND!! Report to Nemesis' author immediately Variable Name: <1> in its work. It started crashing after I saw this note before. I think that's why this mod didn't work for me. Thanks anyway.
EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHUofmJ0X3M i did delete nemesis again and install like that video and i again see that bug found message. At least nemesis dont crash anymore. Everytime i see that message.
There were 2 mods that broke things for me. The first was Sensual Needs mod. The second was Bow Rapid Combo V3 (This one broke the "OAR" more for some reason). But at the end of the day I didn't get any nemesis or a crash in the game.
This is detected on VT, might be a false positive, but didn't want to take the chance. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e45e6e90f938f90244543d31be1b14f44a07c7ed8576ecb094498d39c15784be/detection Saw the post from a previous user, and it seems that this exe performs the below(?), in either case, I created my own bat file like below and it also worked.
as flattering as your proposal is I will have to sadly decline as I don't know you. But I'm glad it helped you wish you the best on your modding journey.

So you don't actually save any time at all.
Thanks for the effort though, certainly appreciated.

cmd.exe /c start "Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine" /affinity 1 "Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine.exe"
@FazaFox1
If that is all this does then might be a good idea to just change the exe for a bat file in this mod.
But I'm glad it helped you wish you the best on your modding journey.
