    Hello my friends!
I'm working on the Non-HDT Bonesaint version right now, then I'll continue with the next armor.
Any idea, suggestion or bug report, please let me know.

Hi. Nope, I tried, but the original models have a lot of problems to be fixed first. Maybe I'll try again someday.

Hey, I'm a big fan of your work and presentation.
I'm getting into modding and would like to do something similar to what you did here with the Bonesaint armor. My goal is to create a HIMBO conversion for one of the armors in the pack - there's a useful YouTube video I found for that and I'm confident it'll be enough, but it uses a stand alone armor and "Armors of the Velothi Pt. II" has a bunch of armors in one mod. There's a .bsa file with the textures and I've seen there's a BSA extractor so I'm sure I'll be able to do that.

    Here's my problem.
Looking at the files for your non-HDT Bonesaint armor, you seem to have extracted the Bonesaint meshes and textures (and cubemaps) from the original "Armors of the Velothi Pt. II" pack. I don't know how to do that and the reddit posts I've seen give tips as though they're advising someone who knows their way around CK, but I dont. Is there a guide you could point me to on how to successfully extract an armor set from a collection such as Armors of the Velothi Pt. II? I'm very computer literate so I'm sure I will e able to follow such a guide. I'm sure copying and pasting the meshes, textures and cubemaps and keeping the same folder structure is step one, but I don't know how they interact with the .esl and two .bsa files in this pack.

I would really love your help in any way you can manage. I'll be tinkering in the mean time and will update if I figure things out but I only downloaded CK and SSEEdit two days ago so it may take me a bit.

    Thank you.

Hello Euralin! And welcome to passionate world of modding!
You can easily extract any BSA file with Bethesda Archive Extractor (BAE). Download it, unpack it to any folder, double click on a BSA file and indicate your OS to always use bae.exe (you will have to go to the folder where BAE already unpacked).
I hope this helps, and have fun!

Thanks for such a quick response, I've set up BAE and have extracted the files I need and am now following this one guide. One last question, I noticed that in a lot of your armor patches you fix clipping issues. Is that something I can do with bodyslide or will I need to download nifscope to fix clipping issues?

Outfit Studio is the best solution for you.
I use File -> Import -> From NIF and File -> Export -> To NIF (or CTRL+E) after editing the mesh file.

Hey, is there any chance you can do  the Travelling Merchant set in the future?  I'm still having that overlayed pouches on the belt (seems like a HDT and a non-HDT version is there at the same time) and i just can't find a solution for it. Since that the only patch thread i could find i thought i ask or seek answer for the said problem lol.

these non-HDT armor mods are such a blessing for people like me, pls keep up the good work. can't wait for all the velothi armors
    1. Same hopefully we get Hearthguard soon really love that armor.
  6. So if we use your crafting version and non HDT version we don't need faster HDT SMP installed right? And since their no world edits or scripts new npcs it should be safe to install on existing save I would assume? Edit tested it out myself it works on existing saves

It's a great mod, so I hope the non-HDT coverage will be expanded.
I especially like the mod "Armors of the Velothi II - Travelling Merchant Travels", but I can't use it because the outfit have meshes stretching to the ground, breaking immersion. It's really disappointing.

First, thank you for sharing these fixes with community xtudo.
Secondly, when I equip indoril bonesaint flag on my character it is invisible for some reason (I use your 1k, hdt-smp, standalone version).

Hi. Invisible means missing mesh file. Did you install the required Armors of the Velothi Pt. II mod?

I use your standalone version in optional files which does not require original mod (I read that in description). Only flag is invisible when I wear it and rest of armor set is visible.

The HDT-SMP version requires the original mod installed first.
I made the standalone version thinking in my Non-HDT fix.
But you can use the standalone version with the HDT-SMP fix, just install the the original mod first.
Sorry about that, I'll update the description page.

IS THE 2K TEXTURE FILE SUPPOSED TO BE BIGGER THEN THE 4K?

Yes, because there are some textures not included in the 4K file, that already are in the original mod (like 4K normal maps).

Is it possible to add a neck hole for the standard hooded and unhooded Redoran Hearthguard helmets?

The inventory, world and even worn models seemingly have no discernible way to put on or take off the helm. It's just one continuous piece, lol.
