Did you know that Rakel is Rachel, but that is how it is spelled in Icelandic?  Weirdly, I noticed how English always uses a ch instead of a k, like in Middle English schalt or schal, or now it is shalt or shall but in Icelandic it is skalt and skal. However, originally in Hebrew רָחֵל, they used a chet and not a kaph so the ch is more correct than the k in transliteration from Hebrew, see Hebrew names. Though not always the case Mikael is more closer to the Hebrew מִיכָאֵל, see they use a kaph.
