Great mod but for some reason on this particular load order, I'm getting melee draugr and skeletons just standing there. Couldn't see how to fix in xEdit. Any help?
Hello, I am currently making a mod list, and I was wondering if this mod would be compatible with Blade and Blunt - A Combat Overhaul I know the mod page says that is "everything compatible", but since Blade and Blunt is also a Combat Overhaul mod, I wanted to double-check before installing.
It will work but Skytactics combat styles values will override the ones from Blade and Blunt. You should look in xEdit to see if you know how to do that. Either way it does not matter if you use Skytactics or not with it, it's going to be the same game experience.
Well, thats not correct. It matters. The styles introduced by SkyTactics are tuned for each faction. Its a huge difference if you fight a bandit or a guard. I tested it a lot while tweaking. In general enemies attack now more varied than previously from bash to power attack. Some enemies bash less often than others. Some stagger you and power attack. Some power attack more in general. Some block more and counter attack when you attack. Its not immediately obvious when playing, but when you pay attention what they do, you will see its different. Spawn ten level 1 bandits and you will see they will all fight differently. Without SkyTactics, they have all the same style.
Regarding Blade And Blunt, yes you can use them together. I will make an update for this mod and also add a chance modifier. So that there is a chance for vanilla CS or a new one from SkyTactics.
can you make it so the companions are always aggressive in combat? in the scripted giant fight outside whiterun they sometimes run away from the giant instead of aggressively attacking like they should
