If you see the old files, the more "recent" one should work, still working fine for me :)

Not sure if anyone is interested but I figured how to force compatibility with mods like KS Hairdos and ApachiiSkyHair for Dremora Overhaul and Playable Mod. Thankfully the solution is quite simple with some minor SSEEditing.

(Photobomb courtesy of Among the Hist from Interesting NPCs)

The reason hairstyles aren't natively compatible with the "headparts" added by these aesthetic mods is because of how the FormID "HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast" is defined in this Dremora mod. As it stands it does not include the races added by this mod. Don't lose heart, we can fix this. Instructions in spoiler below.

First you will need SSEEdit. This is not a tutorial on SSEEdit so you'll need to have some familiarity with the tool and using it in conjunction with whatever mod manager you're using (or not using).

    1. Run SSEEdit
    2. Right click in the selection window and select none to uncheck all mods
    3. In the search box begin typing in "DremoraOverhaulModSkyrimRemastedEdition.esm"
    4. When the search narrows your mod list enough, check the box next to this esm file and click ok
    5. Once SSEEdit has finished loading, in the left pane under "DremoraOverhaulModSkyrimRemastedEdition.esm", navigate to and expand the FormID List
    6. Click the row with the Editor ID of "HeadPartsAllRacesMinusBeast"
    7. Scroll all the way to the bottom in the right pane
    8. Since this mod version was released before the Dawnguard DLC, you may want to click and drag the LNAM Form ID
for the "SnowElfRace "High Elf" [RACE:0200377D]" into the Dremora mod
    9. You'll also need to right click in the empty space Form IDs (aligned) row under the Dremora mod
    10. Select add and it will add another LNAM row (do this three times as we need to add three races)
    11. In these three rows new LNAM rows beneath the Dremora mod, right click the empty space and select "edit."
    12. A warning pop-up will appear, click "Yes, I am sure"
    13. Now add the following races one at a time :

          DeadraStepDremoraSRRace "Dremora" [RACE:03000D62]

          DeadraStepDremoraXivkynSRRace "Xivkyn" [RACE:03009B12]

          DeadraStepDremoraXivilaiSRRace "Xivilai" [RACE:03018464]

It should look like this when you're done:

    14. Close SSEdit and click save when the pop-up appears.
    15. Look dangerously smexy as you terrorize Skyrim!!!

The only issue I've run into so far with this fix is that some of the beards designed for the vanilla races have some pretty severe clipping issues because of the Dremora's pronounced chin mesh. I tried manipulating the sliders included in RaceMenu but was not able to eliminate the clipping. It may be possible to fix this in the sculpting menu but I'm not certain. Images of the problem are in the spoilers below.

I also highly recommend Dremora Overhaul Your Own Textures which directs this mod to use any modded body textures you are using like Vitruvia - Skin Texture Overhaul for Males.

Feel free to message me with questions. Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing this. Please correct me if I am wrong. I believe we need to add two more FormIDs for the Dremora vampire races, like so:

      DeadraStepDremoraSRRaceVampire "DremoraVampire" [RACE:1100AB62]
      DeadraStepDremoraXivkynSRRaceVampire "Xivkyn" [RACE:1100AB64]

(Note: There appears to be no equivalent 'DeadraStepDremoraXivilaiSRRaceVampire' in the mod.)

I'm not certain. It's been a while since I tinkered with these mods. However, I didn't run into a problem excluding these FormIDs...at least not any obvious ones.

What I do know is the Vampire component of this mod is pretty finicky. If you have any mods which alter the Vampire skills and such, your Vampire Dremora player character will not vampire properly. I haven't figured out how to make it work myself. However, it doesn't seem to effect the character appearance.

I'd be interested to know if you discover anything about either of these topics.
  7. decent mod, just wish my character would stfu sometimes. the added character voice lines are cool but it is CONSTANT, it is especially bad if you have a fast swinging weapon.

Where did you get the file to download? I just discovered this mod but there is no file to download...not the latest one at least.

Does this mod work with Better Vampires? If it does/doesn't, would I need Race Compatibility as well?

It appears that the vampire race of this mod does not work, in which it causes issues with better vampires and that it does not work properly with it. Causing you to be unable to feed on victims and progress your rank.

I doubt this will be fixed though, since this mod has not been updated in years and the mod author has clearly stated he/she/it does not want to work on it anymore. Maybe someone else has an answer to this problem?
