Misalignment and Miscellaneous Fixes for Edge UI 0.61

File 1 (Screen ratio agnostic)
Fixed:
  • In third-person, the floating BTPS widgets are slightly-left of the selected object. In first-person, the 2D BTPS overlay is slightly-left of the crosshair / reticle. (copied BTPS original matrix x-pos translations)
  • TrueHUD's Boss Bar decorative elements (icon, bar decoration, level text) aren't centered to the screen - they are too far left. The boss health bar itself is fine. This means when the health bar diminishes toward the center, the left half of the health disappears behind the decorative boss icon while the right half still remains visible. (move icon elements with widgets.swf. Boss bar decoration needs to be moved from Assets0.swf)


File 2 (Only for 16:9 screens)
Fixed:
  • Journal/Quest menu confirmation text (that appears when loading a save or quitting game) isn't centered to the screen and/or buttons. (element 261, matrix x-pos translation)
  • Favorites menu shows an LR instead of L for a Left-Selected item.
  • Charge Meter isn't aligned to the bottom-left edge of the Item Card widget
  • Loading Text clips with Line Separator widget at Line 3
  • Magic menu text doesn't fit inside Item Card boundaries
  • Item stat text labels (ex. skill level, weight, value) and values are inconsistent in size and positions across different item types.
  • Soul-gem item list, which appears when you attempt to recharge an enchanted weapon inside the inventory menu, clips outside the Item Card boundaries. (translate up definesprite by 550)
  • Quantity slider is not centered in the Item Card widget
  • Enchantment page text, when choosing weapon enchantment, is erroneously centered rather than left-aligned
  • Map menu date text is hidden off-screen as the entire bottom bar widget is too far down the y-axis (element 63, matrix y-pos translation)
  • Map menu bottom bar button widgets erroneously move around since Dear Diary's Local Map p-code is written for centered widgets. (resolution: remove all hard-coded x-translation code)
  • Wait/Sleep menu pointer (sprite 47) is misaligned with the circle. The pointer should be pressed against the beige circle rim, not far out beyond the black rim. (Adjust child 55, PlaceObject 2 for child 47; vertical transform from -176.8 to -160)

If you don't like the widget alignments in my images, you should still install my patched .swf files so that your chosen alignment can be affected not by the widgets themselves but by your config .txt files.

Highly recommended to be used with ufo77888's other misalignment fixes. My itemcard.swf patch is based on ufo77888's patch, but my fixes should also be carried over where appropriate. Later patches released by other authors may or may not supersede this page's files.

If you need help with Survival Mode stat appearances on Edge UI 0.61, since the latter doesn't show does penalties correctly, try my TrueHUD Patch for Edge UI since this mod has inherent compatibility.
