    Definitely leaving on Tracking dont have use for it currently but hopefully skypatcher lets you set rank to 0

      I'm already struggling at the conception phase haha - Skypatcher lets you dynamically change relationship statuses per NPC, but I can't think of a logical rule to define which NPCs would be classified as "followers" to begin with!

      Hmm, I can think of the factions for followers playing a role, like PotentialFollowerFaction. What I'm not sure of at this point is how you would dynamically do that that wouldn't just hit every follower ever, some will have a quest that you have to complete in order to get them as a follower (it will then increase disposition to 2), but others would be custom followers that are intended to walk up to the player to become a follower whom also have a quest as a feature for the follower... so I'm not sure how a quest entry would differentiate between the two different kinds. If that could be solved, there is at least a way to dynamically patch a lot follower mods all at once, but it may not be full proof.

    I forgot the name of this mod and for the life of me I couldn't remember it's name or the picture for it! I spent hours trying to find this mod again and I thought it was deleted, turns out that I just looked at this mod in my TRACKING section and just went "eh, not that one", lmao!

    I just spent the last couple of days making some esl's that do the same thing for 50+ follower mods XD. I wanted to make a hub page for em and credit your mod for the inspiration and thought I wouldn't be able to, I'm glad to know I just had a 'bruh' moment XD

      As I understand Skypatcher currently does not support relationship patching. Looks like your work will be the cornerstone for the foreseeable future!

      Oh damn that sucks! Well not so fast, I don't plan to make patches for the follower mods you covered because, well, you have one so we can both make them XD and I only plan to make patches for the followers I use, so both of our works can be the cornerstone to this, and others too! We can all make small mods to provide options for others, we all may go about it in different ways and even add particular spins on it if we dig deep enough!

      I'm glad to know at least I won't be encroaching on your mod, while I suspected that you could do this I didn't know for sure or how to until you made this mod! I'm definitely going to be crediting you for the idea, and when I make a hub page for my relationship patches I'll be linking your mod, I want your mod to be used as well!

      And one day, maybe a sky patcher can be done, or a SPID, I'm dabbling in SPID currently so who knows, maybe theirs already a way I haven't seen.

    i think this is a beginning of a great framework, i think you should make this mod into some kind of framework, then you could maybe add a tutorial or guide to patch custom follower

    I have been waiting for something like this for a long time, to have numerous potential followers through out my journey but without just having free access to them for no good reason. It's unfortunate to hear that it doesn't hit all followers but I'm glad to see something like this in it's beginning steps. I've been learning to play around with SPID and SSE Edit since summer and am curious if there is anything we, as a community, can do to help with your mod. Or, if you do not plan to update this mod, how did you end up making this mod in case any of us would like to make some more patches for follower mods?

    EDIT: I'm sorry, in my excitement I forgot to say: Thank you so much for making this mod, I'm excited to see where it goes :D

      Technically the way I'm doing it is old fashioned by now - manually creating game records for each NPC.

      You are on the right track, something dynamic should be used instead, I believe Skypatcher would be the most ideal but I have yet to begin to learn that. The only slight problem would be that a mod may require their included NPC to be at a specific relationship, and automated solutions would then cause issues unless it could somehow tell if NPC should be modified.

      To that end, I chose these mods because they are a handful of generic NPCs that populate the world in a known quantity. Most of the time people just use "setrelationshiprank player 0" for the individualized follower mods they might really like.

      If you have some other batch follower mods I can take a spin at them too to cover some more options for players

      Ah those are good points to consider as well! 

      Well a few you may want to give a shot are EnroysDuneborne and The Hidden Blades mods, they look pretty nice. I'm testing out AllieWadeModsAW Heroes of the Wade All in One to see how it is as well.

      I also think PandorablePandorable's Heroines is a nice mod that adds a lot of variety of followers. You could give those a look.

      I'm also using nazarethblood and Lexa0100 follower mods as well but those are each single follower esl mods and not batch follower mods. I have a lot of their mods downloaded already so maybe I'll give it a shot. It would be a nice excuse for me to learn how to make a FOMOD too.

    I hope i'm not misunderstanding this, but if you were actually able to make a mod that has all non-custom modded followers not immediately be recruitable and have rank 3 as soon as you recruit them, then this is the mod i've been waiting for, for years. gonna give it a try now...

      After playing around with the mod for some time I think it does what it says but only for the two mods in the requirements section that it's meant to patch. So it was my mistake for misunderstanding it'll put relationship rank to 0 for other follower mods from other modders, after ensuring it loads after those mods and RDO, potential modded followers still start at Rank 3; I did NOT start a new game though, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

      there's actually an easy way to fix in-game for individual specific followers, open the console, click the NPC, and type setrelationshiprank player 0 to do the exact same thing this mod would

      I have been using that console command, I just figured it'd be amazing if there was a mod that automated the process. I don't want to sound ungrateful though, please don't misunderstand.
