Hey all! I'm glad you're all liking these new outfits. I also want to thank everyone who has taken the time to post screenshots and make conversions/patches for this mod <3
Here's some information on what actually comes in the main mod and answers to FAQ.
What's included?
-4 outfits, and one hood. All outfits have alternative versions available without bags or accessories, choose your preferred look when building in Body Slide. -First person and Ground Models. -Prebuilt meshes for CBBE and Vanilla Male. -Bodyslide files for CBBE and Himbo
FAQ
Can you make a conversion for x/y/z body mod? No, all conversions are up to the community. I only use CBBE.
I don't use Bodyslide, will these work out of the box? Yeah, mod works out of the box, no bodyslide needed. I have provided prebuilt meshes that are made to match vanilla bodies as close as possible. CBBE is still recommended tho.
Can you make a replacer version? Probably not. I have taken a different approach and provided a spid file instead
Can you change x/y/z outfit? No, but my perms are open so feel free to do it yourself. My mod needs to be a requirement tho.
How do I get the items? There is two optional files provided currently. One allows for the items to be crafted at a tanning rack, the other adds them to radiant raiment's merchant list. You can use both these files together. If using the SPID patch, the outfits will be assigned to a few named NPCs (Snorreid,Jolf,Jorn,Angeline Morrard,Faendal,Anoriath,Orgnar,Keerava)
*SIDE NOTE FOR ADVANCED USERS MAKING PATCHES AND TINKERING IN xEDIT: My mod was created with the new CK and has 1.71 header, all patches need to use the same header otherwise xEdit won't show correct records. If you're seeing conflicts in xEdit for my mod it means you need to update to latest version to view the new esl range correctly.
very nice clothing, however i do take issue with calling them lore friendly, these aren't remotely lore friendly. this isnt nordic/scandinavian (which skyrim is based on), low medival or "skyrimish" in asthetic, these are at best spanish and french in design and mostly just generic fantasy anime. still gonna use them but it is some small, unasked for criticism
"this isnt nordic/scandinavian (which skyrim is based on)"
Huh?
Your criticism is not even based on the lore, but how you think things should look. ESO is still Elder Scrolls, there's no such thing as it being "loose" when it comes to the lore... You are even talking about temperature lol. These points really make no sense.
Skyrim is better described as "Nordic stereotype flavored", in that they're called Nords, are commonly white and blonde, and live somewhere cold and forested. Their accents are not actually Nordic OR Scandinavian but instead inconsistently range from American English to a comical Schwarzenegger-esque mashup of Austrian and the Muppet's Swedish Chef. People complained about Vilja's accent not being authentic before they drove her off, and she is actually Swedish. So they idea that Skyrim is based on anything either authentically Nordic or Scandinavian in any reasonable way is pure nonsense, and policing it that way only serves to discourage creative modding.
These are about as Skyrim-ish as any clothing or armor you can find on the Nexus, and certainly not anime-ish. Two of them could even arguably be called a dirndl and a bunad in form, both of which are historically Northern European and one of which is explicitly Norwegian. So basically, I don't know what you're talking about.
How were these items distributed to npcs? I mean which npcs might wear them and if it's randomly done or if there is a specific listof npcs that got these items? If so could you add this list to the mod description or add a sticky post here?
I would try the following mods: -Outfit manager/outfit NPC type mods (there are at least a couple out there) -Nether's Follower Framework (lets you set outfit for followers, and has option to make Ysolda a follower).
Enable plug-in. Easiest way to check if mod is working is with additem menu or other alternatives. Use BEES if not on the most recent version of the game.
The low cut tavern dress shows a sizeable mesh gap between the cloth and breast with 'bigger' presets and the collared beige outfit has some clipping issues around the neck. Other than that it's perfect :)
Hi, these clothes are awesome, but there is a problem. They seem to take up two body slots, and when in a follower's inventory, they may equip your mod's clothes instead of the better armor.
