I have restructured the fomod, added back janman101's edited esp (thank you very much!). This is the last update, because I cannot realisticaly give any more support for a version of Skyrim I dont have nor am I willing to update to. I am now working on Dawn of Skyrim replacer and that takes priority.

I am writing this for other users: If you choose to select the modified Ivarstead plugin (by janman101), you need to select the 1.3 version in the FOMOD as well as the edited plugin. This is so you can get both the textures/meshes and the plugin data. If you only select the modified plugin, you will be missing the meshes/textures which can cause issues in game e.g. crashes/freezes. [Note: if the FOMOD gets modified, this advice may become useless.]
Could you make the Minor Cities and Towns version as a separated plugins for those using individual mods (Great City of Morthal, Great City of Dawnstar etc.) Great work by the way :)
Sorry for not testing other possibilities beforehand, I did now and it seems to be more complicated ... In 1.3 TGT Ivarstead got .esl flagged, so the FormIDs got compacted with header version 1.71. Your mod is older version 1.70 and can't contain the FormIDs from the new TGT Ivarstead, so it doesn't work out of the box. When I override the original mod into a new plugin and combine it with your changes, it works. Then I tried to directly copy the TGT records into your mod but it won't without updating the header first Hope I'm not writing bullsh*t
I downloaded the newest version of Ivarstead and looking at it in xEdit, it looks okay? They are overwriting. You did install the replacer ver 1.3, right? The fomod kinda lets you pick both ivarstead 1.2 and 1.3, because I did not know how to exactly set it up back then, but the replacer for 1.3 should work right away :( Hmm, maybe just making my esp 1.71 could fix that. Dunno, I am not that knowledgeable with this.
Gosh modding is hard :) I redownloaded and reinstalled newest versions of both mods and mine still looks like this and I have no idea why. And your plugin cant contain the FormIDs of the original unless I update the header. The only thing I don't have up-to-date is MO2 (2.5.0) Sorry for bothering you with this
To the author: I you want I could send you my edited esp with the updated header for TGT Ivarstead 1.3.3. The only issue I guess is that it won't work on a 1.6.640 game without BEES.
I just updated my copy, be aware that the items and factions may be messed up too even after loading with 1.71. It's supposed to fix itself when you change the header but in this case it did not and they're actually pointing at Skyrim.esm which is wrong.
The last update to the Ivarstead esp causes an infinite loading screen when booting the game (at least for me). I have TGC Ivarstead 1.3.3, and made sure to select only the 1.3 version from the fomod. This is the only time I've had any problems with this.
TBH at this point I am thinking of dropping any support for that version, because I dont plan to update my Skyrim version just for that :/ Previous esp worked for you without issues or did you have to do anything in xEdit? If it worked, I will re-upload the older version.
Rolled it back, you can redownload now. @janman101 - while it did not work out, still thank you for your help :) I will add yours to optional file, if thats ok? So people can try which version works for them :D
I'm using the latest version of TGC Ivarstead and had to revert back to the last update of this replacer the latest one seem to cause issue again and form ID aren't matching in xedit again. I think the problem is this mod auto selects version 1.2 in the fomod and people are forgetting to deselect it that's probably why they maybe having the infinite load screens with TGC Ivarstead 1.3.3
@nlmiller0064 Are you telling me this whole problem was so simple? lmao I redid the FOMOD, so now there is extra page for ivarstead 1.3, it also means the mod is now lighter. I am crossing fingers everything is going to work now!

I switched my old n faithful .640 to .1170 half a year ago The process of updating wasn't that scary - i updated my 3000 modlist in like 2 hours SKSE plugin status page and BEES mod helped me out a lot!
I am going to lose my mind lol. Ok, I will add janman's fixed esp into the fomod too, so there will be options. I'll do it once I get home. And then Im not touching this anymore so I can focus on new mods xD

Hi, glad you like my mod. I make replacers for mods I am using myself and because I have older version of skyrim (1.6.40), I can't use the newest version of the standalone winterhold, sorry :( I have the Great cities - minor cities and towns merged version instead - currently working on adding it as an update for this replacer.
I wonder if the fact I am using older version of the mod (for my Skyrim ver 1.6.40) is the reason, because everything works just fine in my game.. I'll check the newer version in xEdit in a moment.
No, I am using version 1.2. Looking at version 1.3 in xEdit (I cant load it in CK) - there have been ID changes, so I'll see what needs updating. Hopefully won't take long.

I am happy you enjoy my replacer and thank you for suggestions. I will write them down, although I do replacers for mods I personally use (Dawn of Skyrim and Alternate Perspective/Helgen are next on my list before I burn out).

I'm using Karthwasten 1.2 with Robs bugfixes FYI, if that matters, since I don't think the original has been updated to include them like the rest of the series.
I see, I am using only the original mod and frankly never go to Karthwasten to notice anything odd :D I'll have a look tomorrow on that and also Shor's stone, if there is more stuff. I'll add it to optional files. Thanks for letting me know.
