I only use the mods recommended on Community Shaders, including ENB without presets, ELFX, and ELFX Shadows. This mod works well, but when the sun is high, a very dense shadow forms under the roofs of the houses. It's so dense that the character gets lost when walking through it, which is visually awkward.
This addition to the CS suite is bloody gorgeous, but I have one gripe... things (surprise surprise) suddenly got really dark in otherwise low lit areas, like the insides of watchtowers. Gotta toggle my lantern on to see anything at all.
When you have a tower, with gaping holes in it (ex door, windows, open roof into a stairwell), no, you should not need a torch. This is causing extreme dark shadows with simple roof overhangs. Perhaps it can be tweaked, which I'm going to look into, but the default is harsh.

I've found a weird issue with Skylighting 1.1. This screenshot shows that, as I stand with my torch looking into Ancestor Glade cave (at -4 -24 in Tamriel), there's a big black void that can be clearly seen as it renders over top of the passing snow and my torch flame. It's just... black. When you stare into it, it stares also into you.
This only happens with Skylighting 1.1 and the latest CS -- confirmed that 1.0.1 didn't have this issue.
Fantastic mod! I've noticed that at night, a moonlight is coming from seemingly nowhere. Is there a way to sync it to actual moon position in the sky, and potentially color it as a specific moon?
P.S. I found out I can move moons using https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/73336 Yet the moons are offset from the specific spot the light is coming from.
Is it something that can be considered, maybe to patch mods to work together? It would greatly increase the immersion.
P.S. It looks like the "sky light" at night for some reason moves from west to east, not east to west, so it cannot be synced with moons. It would be great if this could be changed.
The latest update broke my lighting. I still had the previous file so I just reinstalled that. Had glowing trees, glowing bushes, glowing eyes during racemenu character creation and interiors were black with funky disco lights.
No idea what it could have been, I have almost 1500 mods on my LO and I fully admit that I am incompetent at modding.
I just had the same experience I've never used this mod before. I was able to disable Skylighting, my shaders recompiled when started the game, and then everything was fine.
