My personal mod list for a beautiful, immersive Skyrim experience.

Permissions and credits
This is a big list of cool mods + pack of screenshots to be used with the "Photo Mode" mod for an oil painting look.
Instructions for the screenshots/loading screens on the files page.

I want to point out some maybe lesser-known mods that people would not otherwise find.

I will update this periodically as I add & remove mods.
Have suggestions? Let me know!


Why Not a Mod Pack?

I failed to realize that in order to make an official downloadable mod pack I had to keep all of the original download files. I cannot be bothered to re-download all of these mods, so instead consider this a sort of compilation of mods I have found and love to use. Maybe you just want to browse and grab a few you haven't heard of, that's cool.

For those of you who want to actually install all of these, I have a text file in the downloads that gives some pointers.

If you have questions I can answer them, but a lot of this is going to require your own research and reading.
Trust me - it's worth it. You'll gain a lot of knowledge about modding and become better at modifying your games.

Load Order?

The mods are listed from lowest priority to highest priority.
They are listed exactly how I have them in my own load order.

My Computer Specs / Performance

I have a 4070 Ti Super, 32 GB RAM, Intel Core i5-14600KF
I get well over 60 fps indoors.
Outdoors fps can fluctuate between 40-60 fps, but I am mostly at 50-55 fps.
Please bear in mind:

  • I am running mostly 4k textures
  • My ENB settings are quite high
  • My skyrim ini is on ultra
  • This list includes performance intense mods like "JK Skyrim" and "Nature of the Wild Lands"
  • I am running SMP physics body & hair (performance demanding)

My point is that you can opt-out of some of this stuff to drastically improve performance (lower settings, 2k textures, etc.)
That being said, Rudy ENB is pretty intensive, and having a lot of texture mods will always be demanding.

Before you get started:

  • This mod list is built with most recent version of skyrim (AE) in mind. Make sure you are downloading the AE versions of mods where they offer multiple mod versions for the different versions of Skyrim.
  • Mods highlighted in green denotes something that is not very important / is optional.
  • If you notice anything wrong, or mods that seem redundant please let me know. This list isn't perfect.
  • Make sure to endorse all of these awesome mods and thank the authors for their hard work :)
