To be competely transparent, I do not know why its happening. I know most of you know that on the first release of the latest version, this was never an issue. It recently surfaced a few weeks ago. So this could be caused by a completely other issue or a conflict that I do not yet know.
I am on a modding break and cannot really address it for now, so please under this post, let me know your experiences with the bug such as
- When does it happen? - How many times? - What faction or what weapon does the enemy doing this have?
I want to use these movesets alongside CPR with Weapon Styles for IED (CPR), but some of them include equip/unequip animations (like in the Elden Rim pack, NPC - Griphon, etc.).
The author of Weapon Styles for IED (CPR) mentioned in the comments of that CPR patch: Unless there is equip-unequip animation included in the MCO moveset, they would override Weapon Style's animation. If that's happened, just make sure those animations limited to player-only with OAR / check the description for more details.
So, should I hide or delete the equip/unequip animations from all the movesets in this mod?
Yep, this might just be something conflicting or causing this behavior without me noticing, they should only spam it a few times then proceed to attack with their weapons right? this is often seen on dual wielding
They spam till they're out of stamina. Easy fix would probably be to limit that attack to 2 times back to back. I can show you a video if you got discord.
Just want to mention that I'm having this exact same issue, but it can be replicated with this mod turned off. I turned off this one, Project Gap Close and Aggressive AI. Still getting the EXACT same issue. NPC's spamming their dash attack. Really frustrating.
Honestly, if it wasn't so frequent, I'd actually see it as a funny feature. Especially with AMF, they go straight and miss so comically that it's perfect for weak bandits who don't know they're bad.
CPR isn't moveset based, its based on sheath and unsheath animations, so meaing even if I don't patch it for CPR, aslong as you have either Weapon Styles for IED (CPR) or Smooth Moveset (CPR), it'll work on CPR calculating logic.

Combat mods are: BFCO, WildCat, Precision, Valhalla Combat, SCAR, High Level Enemies Redux, and skytatics.
Are any of these incompatible?
Specifically the one handed animations
