the armor does not show up for me, tried console as well as head towards the forts, nothing. nvm, if anyone encountered my problem use this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441
Hello and good evening! I love your armor mods for their lore accuracy and visual prowess. You are extremely talented, and I was wondering if you have thought about porting some or all of your armors over to Oblivion Remastered. I know modders have not been able to figure out how to add unique armor sets yet, but as far as I know, replacers are possible for now.
Weird request, but would anyone out there be able make a patch to lock the smithing options for this armor behind the imperial smithing perk? Seems odd to have it available from the start.
My apologies, I meant how you're able to change the armor from heavy to light (and back) at the forge from level 1 with no smithing perks. Would there be an option to lock this behind Steel/Imperial Smithing perk. Small immersion patch or something along those lines?
I don't think that would make sense. In fact, you simply remove or add to the armor those parts that would have been removed without any problems. I don't need the skills of a tailor to tie my shoelaces, do I?
i think it’s also implied that if you wear this armor you have at least a very base level of construction since it wouldn’t have come with those leather straps, the character adds them to keep it from falling apart
Definitely one of the best takes I've seen on Imperial Armor from a mod. Most do some silly things with the shape, or go too hard on the realism to the point where it doesn't fit the game world at all.
I love this idea, and totally understand what it's trying to accomplish, but I have to ask - is there a plan to maybe develop a 2nd stage to 'recrafting' and restore the armor to a newer state? Perhaps equivalent to Steel or Dwarven in stats, with an appearance that looks like it was made a few months ago, rather than during the time of Reman. That would be the kicker for me to use it in a playthrough. I realize this is your vision, and if the goal is to only have an aged set, that's cool. I ask because you're the only one who has nailed the shape/proportions, and kept to the Skyrim art direction. (I've looked at lots of Imperial Armor mods, and always find myself going back to HD retextured vanilla).
I'm afraid there's no way to make a more "new" version of this armor, since most of the details that make it old and worn were added at the stage of creating a high-poly model, and you can't get rid of them by simply repainting the texture
I honestly like the battle worn look, I think it works well even with a newer look. I think a color change to a more "steel" look would do the trick. Would something like that be possible? Sorry to beat a dead horse but I've been looking for ESO style imperial armor as a replacement for the imperial armor for years and this is everything I've ever wanted lol.
you can try looking for other mods that try to replicate the ESO imperial armor look, as I think this armor mod took inspiration from that one too, with the helmet design, shoulder pads size and chest/hip armor
Hello. Great mod. It would be great if this armor was not lying in forts, and all the imperials dressed in it. Just need to add a few additional sets. Have you thought about it? It would be just great. This armor fits the environment and the world much better than the Roman sets.
your mods are truly amazing as you prolly know, i have no idea if you take requests or ideas, or if there is a place you put preivews of ur next mods, but is there a chance you could make a morrowind inspired imperial armour?
This is perhaps THE coolest Imperial Armor I've seen. Are there any plans for making a submod, or optional file to have an imperial armor replacer for the vanilla soldiers? I'd love for them to have this armor everywhere. Either way take care and amazing work!
