If you like the mod, please consider an endorsement. It simply lets me know people like what I do, and also motivates me to create additional replacers here in the form of Bonus Packs.
I published a list containing all the Vanilla NPC names from different, active, large, popular (past and present) AIO (mostly) replacers which will help players who want to install several NPC replacers to mix and match and help resolve conflicts:
Hey there. Thanks for the mod. Really beautiful replacers. Though, I want to suggest, it'd be great if the FOMOD installer can have either a manual selection option or an AIO option. A single merged plugin, instead of 100 of them.
"3. If you're using any mod that touches the Non-Player Character record (e.g. AI Overhaul), you may need to create a patch after installation."
Hello,I have indeed installed AI Overhaul, but I'm a novice modder and I don't think I'm capable of creating any kind of patch. I certainly don't have the necessary knowledge.I've also never installed NPC replacers...So I'm assuming your mod isn't for me and that it won't work properly if I install it?
There are numerous video guides on Youtube explaining how to patch mods. I suggest watching a couple to get the concept down; it's not terribly difficult.
You can get them to work properly by placing them very low in your load order, but you won't get the modifications that AI Overhaul makes to the NPCs included in my mod, so I strongly recommend against it.
Edit: I have also had good success with Synthesis AI Overhaul patch. Edit 2: 4 different solutions have been suggested to OP. That should be enough for everyone to investigate. Thread locked.
Thank you for your reply.I'm not going to start this project right now because I'm already having trouble understanding what I'm doing with Vortex, Bodyslide, etc...😁
Mod author of the AI Overhaul SkyPatcher Patch here. TLDR: The patch allows for AI Overhaul SSE to be used with barely any incompatibility, of which incompatibilities with NPC Replacers (such as this mod, Bijin NPCs, etc), are pretty much non-existent, given you follow the instructions properly.
It's not perfect; there's a certain bug that messes up certain NPCs when the player first meets them (you can read more on the Posts section of my patch's modpage).
Edit: An alternative to not having to make so much patches are to use these scripts instead, which turns whatever replacers you have into SkyPatcher ones, with zero conflicts.
Looking good, finally going from 1.5.97 to the latest AE and rebuilding my modlist, some "old" replacers just dont cut it anymore or to many conflicts.
Going Coldsun and Taranis now ;-)
I made a list to manage NPC replacers ages ago and just updated it with all the NPC's from your mod. People still have their "old" favorites with this list they can easily see which replacers cover the same NPC to avoid conflicts and quickly see which NPC to skip in installers or to edit in Xedit afterwards.

I read the description but I don't really understand what it does 🤔
