If it is something you are interested in, would you please consider making an addon / version where enemy health is not immediately restored upon player dying? It'd make sense when playing with protected followers.
I'm assuming that they won't play well with Undeath's Lich feature (where the player character resurrects from death, gained by finishing the mod's main questline.)
that probably uses a really bad papyrus-based implementation of alt death, so the hope is this mod would fire first, but yes they would ;probably be incompatible.
That's what I thought. Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it.
I wanted to do a lich playthrough after not replaying Undeath for a few years, so I'll just have to see how things go. I'm using this mod as a solution to try and curb my bad habit of reloading saves in-game (when dying, which can be frequent.) Won't get to that stage in Undeath for a while, but when I do I'll report on whatever happens.
This mod is one of the last in my LO, so logically it should take priority over however Undeath handles the resurrection mechanic.
is resurrection API required for older skyrim 1.6 versions? the requirements for this mod state that resurrection API for 1.6 is for if you're using 1.6.1170, but I'm running 1.6.640, so would I still need to download it or does it only apply to 1.6.1170
resurrection api is still needed no matter the game version, whether it works with .640 or not idk. someone said it does, but i didn't test it as i don't use that game version
Have you changed the duration/effects of the ethereal/calm states at all from Shades?
I'm using Shades currently and finding them too short to effectively get away (though it might also be because they're fighting my companions, not sure), so was considering giving your fork a try instead if it makes any adjustments to one or both of those settings.
Hi, I just ran into one issue: would it be possible to make it so that, upon reviving, the aggro is removed from important NPCs? For companion NPCs, if I hit them and get killed, and then fight again, the aggro doesn't disappear. This could be problematic for quests.

Which is compatible so long as I Shadow's alternate death system (which is an option via its MCM.) Going to get the best of both worlds!
Set to 1 can't heal injuries in jorrvaskr even thought it is not a donjon
Setting it to 0 works

Similarly Enais Sacrosanct has an ability where if you die at certain stages you get resurrected as well
