My game started to crash near the giants' camps. I suffered for a long time, looking for the cause... and it turned out that it was this mod. I would really like to see this problem fixed. I like the mod, it adds immersiveness to the game, but crashes... it's a death sentence(((
That one is not the same and didn't work but this one did. I think it may conflict with other mods because this version worked right out of the box for me. Just a head up.
FWIW I removed all references to the giant campfires from the ESP and that solved the "too bright" and CTD problems with those, but I couldn't put out regular campfires using a couple different ice spells. Also, the changes completely overwrite my campfire mesh changes from other mods. If I found I could put out fires and start fires after my changes, I was going to change the meshes in my other mods so that they could be put out and started. Also, I was not able to catch myself on fire at a giant's campfire after the change, so it's definitely not compatible with Fires Hurt. I really wanted to incorporate this mod in my survival playthrough but decided to stop trying.
Yes, causes ctd around giant camps. Makes the fire look super bright and big. Maybe conflict with "fires hurt" mod? Anyway, had to disable until it can be fixed.
This mod crashed 2 of my games of many hours. First game I didnt bother cause I was bored, second one I had to play with mods to find out for 2 hours which one is it. Found my culprit, getting close to giants camps with this mod.
This mod caused huge amounts of script build up over time to my save, along with the giant campfire issues everyone else mentioned. There were also a handful of regular campfires affected as well. Worse, all of the script based operation in my save slowed down a TON because of the build up, and I confirmed it was due to this mod spamming it's wbBCFLightScript. Fallrim removed 1550 undefined elements after using this mod for about 8 hours or so..
So yeah, dont use this mod. I'm just going to keep lying to myself that my save has not just been railroaded to oblivion..
