After installing this mod the texture for the giant's toe ingredient is missing - there is a manual fix posted on the bugs page, but a simpler solution is just to install this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44292 or https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80244 both of which replace the texture and mesh - just set a rule so the toe texture mod is loaded after this mod :)
I can't find the plugin for this mod in Vortex. The mod is there, but the actual plugin is just missing. Even if I search by mod name, for some reason it doesn't show up.
Since I'm a pro illustrator (for two decades by now), I don't see where is the "realistic" on this SSS effect. Without it, is 1000% more realistic than when is on.
This comment alone is not why he was banned. There is a forum that details this information if you are ever wondering why a user has been banned in the future. That banned tag is permanently attached to their name irrespective of a user's comment unless they are unbanned. I can see how it could be confused as attached to a specific comment though.
I am not attempting to get involved in this or be antagonistic. It's none of my business. I just thought I should share this helpful information.
Just a small tip, if you get grey/textureless Giant's Toes its the nif file from this mod. Just remove giantstoe.nif from this mod or overwrite it with a different mod's giants toe replacer to fix it (although the toes won't get subsurface scattering).
Wow. I'm putting the finishing touches on a heavily-modded new build and this mod did something I didn't expect to see. I've always liked Kajuan's retextures and have most of them in my game, but the Giants look pasty and gray with his mod only. In this play-through I made the giants twice as tall and with higher stats, so I decided to try and find a way to make them look a bit more "human" (not like they were covered in ashes).
This mod did the trick. I like saturated colors in my Skyrim game (it IS a fantasy world, after all) and now the Giants look much more alive, not ashen. Thanks for this, good job! I posted four pictures (pending approval by the author) but you can also see them in the Mods section of the Screenshots on Nexus.
