Q: Anniversary (AE) vs Special (SE) edition? A: JC is released only for SE and VR. It just happens AE shares the same runtime as SE. Therefore use JC 4.2.x or later, if you have AE or if you have the latest SE updates i.e. 1.6.x runtimes and later. If you haven't upgraded your SE, nor have AE, as always, choose a SKSE version based on your runtime, and then choose JC based on that SKSE.
Q: When Address Library? A: Never. JC bundles SKSE and SKSE does not use Address Library on its own. It is awful a lot of work to fix this.

While using AH Hotkeys, which uses JContainers, I get an error that crashes the game to the desktop: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FFC5987AD65. The error refers to JContainers and seemingly implies: return AH_Hotkeys.AddCurrentlyWornInventoryItem(args.objCurrentlyWornItemsArray Initially, I thought it was AH Hotkeys that is too old. Then, I was surprised when I found out that disabling Faster HDT-SMP prevents crashes (and it works normally).

playing the special edition version everything was working fine until i added fnis and everything started not working, like my character tposes, and i think its a problem with this, because when i load skyrim it says jcontainers le incompatible with se.
I'm trying to get the latest version of AH Hotkeys and iEquip work but no matter which version of Jcontainers I use it throws a Jcontainer not installed error. I have it installed using Mod manager 2.
Way down in the stack dump I have some script functions that look like they're calling into JContainers (JValue.evalLuaObj()). Based on how the mod author has marked the issue regarding this crash as "wontfix", I suspect the crashing address is the entrypoint for Papyrus scripts (so basically, it's a mod issue). For me the offending scripts are from Custom Skills Menu, which has a known issue regarding how it uses JContainers. Try looking around for help with the mod using JContainers.
Hey. I tried to use the Proteus-wheel from that mod, but it tells me that I haven`t installed JContainers, which I did with Nexus. Doesn`t function so far. :(
Im using Ecotone Dual Sheath.esl, but loot says it needs this mod, but will only accept the SE version and not gog. What do i do. Gog is weird because I sometimes use oldrim,se,ae,gog, and it will still work, but if loot says no then thats it.
