    I recommend putting this into your skyrim.ini if youre using this mod so that if you have subtitle for dialogues on, it will hide the name of the speaker, since this mod doesnt affect names in subtitles :

    I cant seem to delete this mod. After I removed it, instead of question marks everyone is titled by their race.

    I like this mod alot but is ther a verson or mod out there that gets rid of the question mark and is just blank till you talk the people?  Just curious i like the cleaner look of the no ?.

      You may attempt it but I cannot guarantee its safety. I usually use Vortex to see if it detects the possibility of a mod to be an ESL.

      Yes, can be made esl in Vortex. Just did that on a new play. It just works.

    I've made an addon for this mod that replaces the "?" with "Stranger" for all NPC's.

    Does this mod let you learn an NPC's name by overhearing it?
    Like, during the intro, when Ralof points out General Tullius. Will you already know his name when you meet him later?

    It was so cool at first but after some time I got tired of talking to people just to learn their name. How do I properly uninstall this mod?

    hi, I love this mod because it adds a huge immersion, and I'm using it with another mod that adds names to npcs that don't have names ( NPCs Name Distributor ), before it was working normally, but I think I did something in the load order that makes the character names appear a few seconds after loading the save even though I haven't talked to the npc.

    I'll try to fix it and I'll post it here if anyone likes the mods because I think it's an interesting combination, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it please let me know

      apparently the NPCs Names Distributor also has the function of hiding the names and they kind of end up having conflicts
      I'm stupid

      Just a heads up this is no longer an issue in latest version of NPCs Names Distributor.

      settings too.

    Yo, this mod seems really interesting to me, and I would love to have it in my next playthrough. But, I was wondering if there are any options to change the text that shows before you talk to the person (in this case, stranger.) “stranger” just dosent sit right with me in a darker game that takes place a couple hundred years ago, and would rather there just be no text instead of “stranger.”

      "Race option" changes them to "Bosmer", "Nord" etc., if the word "stranger" itself is a problem

    I don't know what I am doing wrong. I installed the mod in my current game then went into Whiterun for the first time. Everyone has their name. Do I need to do something special to make the script run? Do I need a new game entirely? Thank you for your help.
