To roleplay this properly one should not use the weather shout xD Ever. And even though he isnt a werewolf, he doesnt have the nick "Old Wolf" for nothing. Fun to see some eddings on here, been making various characters from the Belgarade and Malloreon myself. The ones I've made so far are Kheldar, Liselle, Durnik and Belgarion. :3
Totally agree about not to use that shout. Yeah, I didn't want to do Gandalf. Because I think he is all to common when roleplaying. Besides, Belgarath have a much more interesting personality. Would love to see your characters!
I hope that some skilled movie director will make some movies on the Belgariad some day? Pity that Sean Connery have quit acting and are too old now. Othervice, he would have been perfect for the role as Belgarath.
I dunno about you, but I could see Mark Hamil being cast as Belgarath. But I'd prefer it as a TV series, or even miniseries over movies, as they can have more room for content and character development. Though I'm not sure if any big movie stars would like anything with low budgets.
Yeah, Mark Hamill, as he looks nowadays would make a good Belgarath too. And I would be happy if they "just" did make a TV series of the Belgariad. But I must say that Sean Connery, have the right kind of Brittish / Scottish humoristic approach for characters like Belgarath. And looked the part when he was between his 50's and 60's:
