Q: The courier came to me but I didn't get a letter. There is an issue with siege letters already appearing as read, as far as I know there is nothing I can do about this. If you already have some letters, read through them or remove them until you find one you can't remove and that's the letter.
Q: I'm sided with Skyrim and I can't win the defense of Riften or the defense of Markarth. The defense of Riften and first defense of Markarth are meant to be lost on the Skyrim side. This way the Dominion can control some territory and you can have a proper war. If you haven't lost after about 10 minutes, it will automatically end.
Q: I can't find the carriage in 'The Finale' quest Due to a mistake with dialogue, the carriage is actually at Falkreath, not Riften.
PSA: the swimming in midair bug appears to be related to framerate capping. I had Skyrim's own VSync/FPS limiter turned off in favour of ENB's, and as soon as I limited my FPS to 60 via Havok Fixes the swimming went away. I have no idea how this works in the back end, as my framerate was already limited to 60 and the issue was only happening during SGW battles, but whatever - if you've got this issue, cap your framerate to 60 using any method other than ENB.
I keep getting CTD (Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT" at 0x7FF8D33EB72C XAudio2_7.dll+002B72C) in the Synod Mutiny quest, at the exact same spot. The moment Synod mage notices you and tries to utter something along the line of "by the Eight Divines", I get a CTD before he finishes his sentence. This is without me or any of my companions doing anything particular other than listening to his speech.
hi, i have already ended a spy in the ranks quest, and after a few in game days, nothing happens, the courier wont say nothing, and if i make it appear with the menu, it wont give me anything, do i have to end the main quest or another specific quest?
It has been tested for this and other people have installed in the middle of a playthrough as well. I do think it's better with big mods like this if you can do a new game, but it should be fine if you want to install mid playthrough, yes.
Does anyone know if this mod is compatible with "conquest of Skyrim" mod? Thinking of playing this mod on insane and if I lose to try and reconquer Skyrim.
Definitely wouldn't be possible to fight the Thalmor with your new faction. However, it's probably fine if you side with either the Imperials or Stormcloaks, do this mod and fight the Thalmor, THEN create your own faction and take control of Skyrim.
Update 2. If i dont do anything and stay still hidden (kind of boring being a coward), it seems the % work bettter. The spawning still stopped in markath at 38 defenders (dominion), but whe i enter the battle it freezes earlier.
Also. Respawning npcs doesnt reduce the number nor is the option to win the siege or the second one to debug the respawn. The option to win the siege makes allies cheer, but the objective its frozen.
I read that maybe spells can be affecting the issue so i'll try disabling mages and see what happens.
hello ive progressed through the mods quests with no issues until i lost falkreath trying to get it back the courier, cam and gave me items but they arent showing up in my inventory. how do i fix this? also ive enjoyed this thank you!!
i got it thank you, what i did was just stay in first person and as soon as it said items added i exited the conversation and it worked. i finished the playthrough and its was a wwww loved it so much!! the thalmor hate me and send assassins after me its fun. W mod this should of been in the original game.
Hello! Out of curiosity, what's your policy on other people making derivative mods?
This is the gold standard mod for people who want to do a Thalmor playthrough, but a lot of people (including me) like to start with smaller quests like "Thalmor Dialogue and Quests", "Missing in Action as a Thalmor", or even just the Thalmor beginning in Live Another Life. Then, after building up to the Second Great War, you can watch the Dominion reap the rewards of all your hard work.
Unfortunately if you choose to play it that way, it's a little jarring for Aldarilar to greet you with hostility and suspicion for your first several missions. I'd be interested in creating a tweak/patch for that quest that preserves the basic storyline, but allows you to be a member of the Thalmor from the *very* beginning--identifying yourself as an agent as soon as you enter the fort. I'd like to get your permission, though, because a project like that would obviously be a modification of your work.
If you're not willing to allow that, no worries; I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. Either way, this is an all-around excellent mod, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every time I've played it! Thank you!
This mod is a must for any thalmor playthrough but for me personally i've never once been able to do the battle for skyrim side of this mod. It always gets to the point where i comply A Spy in the ranks and then NEVER progresses, even using the menu to spawn the courier does nothing. I've tried uninstalling and redownloading the mod, several different characters all to the same luck.
I know this is a tall order, buuut..is it possible to make this work with Conquest of Skyrim? So after you are done with that mod, is resumes similar to Stormcloak questline of this one ( with some light dialogue/npc modifications)?

If you don't know what to do next, make sure you don't have any objectives. If you have no objectives, wait for a letter.
If you're using the Anniversary Edition, click here for a patch for Bloodchill Manor.

Great for Thalmor characters though, 5/10
