Sadly I can't get this mod to work. Saving my character doesn't seem to function (after going through all of the messages on top left corner, there's no character when I go into the options), and creating a new character jumps over appearance setting and simply create an exact copy of my existing character.
"also must download..." That's really vague ... why? ... are you saying for all versions or just those latest Todd hack-job updates 1130/1170 (most people don't want those updates for better mod compatibility with the exceptional older mods) Also, according to comments, people are having issues with it. AND if that's true, why isn't it pinned?
I just released an SKSE plugin which adds VR keyboard support.
I patched the text entry menu so it works with all versions of Skyrim including VR. When you open a UITextEntryMenu on Skyrim VR, the VR keyboard is used for text input.
So this might be a silly question to ask, and if this was answered in the description then I just misunderstood how, but now that I installed this mod I don't understand how to hide the UI elements that are on my screen now (armor stats and weapon/spell selection menu)
This mod works for me, but it appears that the mods that utilize it all show very large on a super ultra wide monitor. Some have the UI elements off screen where you don't know what is being chosen.
Just so people are aware, I found out when using resaver that this mod seems to be causing zeroed canaries, with my game at least. I was able to repair my save once I figured out this was the problem. This is a subject I don't know much about, but apparently it was using up script memory which causes instability. Couldn't find much on the subject though.
I think this is because the mod's Cosmetic Menu component, as it's stated on mod's description page, actually requires the RaceMenu mod to be installed (the mod's Dye Menu component also requires it). Previously I also had experienced persistent error messages in ReSaver (aka FallrimTools - Script cleaner and more), alerting that
"Potential problems were identified. This savefile has 1 script instances whose data is missing. 1.UICosmeticMenu: *UIExtensions.esp...".
I've just installed the RaceMenu mod and have no such error messages in ReSaver anymore.

I was running into that same error. Followed your advise by installing RaceMenu, and ReSaver no longer gives me such error messages. Thank you for this very handy information. Very much appreciated!

Okay fine, everyone but Skyrob should at least try the other mod.

Currently, I just put it on GitHub for testing:

I sent a message to expired6978 to see if they're cool with the patch being shared on a Nexus page
Dunno if this fixes for this mod, but this has fixed it for me.
