Maybe I could make a patch, but only if more people want it. It will take a massive amount of time so please leave a comment in this topic if you vote for fix for Nordic UI. I will consider it if more people are willing for such fix.
Nordic UI is now supported. Don't be excited It have some issues. I will add patches to Nordic UI, but they won't be the same as for SkyUI or Vanilla. Please be mind that only Nordic UI is patched right now. There are no optional files right now.
It's amazing that Nordic UI have a patch now, but there is a problem with loading.swf. It seems like it disables loading of the models, so we can't have any loading screens/meshes with this patch enabled. Also it seems that messageboxes are not patched at all.
Any chance you would be able to fix the main menu and loading screens? Thank you so much for adding nordic support! other than those two issues it seems to be working flawlessly!
1) When using a controller the LT and RT button hints are too far to the left on the quest/stats/system menu: https://imgur.com/a/23a33Lc
2) The difficulty slider keeps resetting to Novice, no matter what installation settings are selected (game version SE v1.5.97). I tried Difficulty Persistence Fix (For 219 Ultrawide Support) but that doesn't help either, in fact all that seems to do is bring the Quick Save button back.
Thanks for the mod, btw. Not sure where we'd be without it. :)
I'm having an issue with Survival Mode Improved bottombar.swf. Using the bottom bar from this mod, the Warmth is shown initially, but disappears after the first equip action in the inventory. You have to exit out of the inventory screen and come back. Using the bottombar.swf from SMI this doesn't happen, but the bottombar is obviously cut off and doesn't extend the full screen width. This is on the 21:9 version. I see this happen in a completely new and minimal setup.
Amazing! Thanks for your work on this. Unfortunately I'm having a problem with all of the load screens being pushed way to the right, is there any way I can fix this?
edit: I was able to solve this by deleting the loadmenu.swf file in the interface folder. I hope this is okay to do, I don't know if it will mess something up. Hopefully someone can confirm that it's safe to do so!
Wish there was a Dear Diary patch. And I know that Dear Diary has its own 32:9 (My monitors ratio) configuration in the FOMOD but ... It has problems with the MCM menu ... I think? It could be because it doesn't mix well with this mod, but I'll have to investigate this issue more.
Ok, thanks. Also, after I disabled your mod, MCM menu was working perfectly. But now I have issues with UI's being wide and I can't fix it without your mod. But using your mod will cause issues with Dear Diary. I don't know what to do about that, but I guess I can try to install widescreen scale remover if that'll fix anything.
After Installing that mod and disabling your widescreen fix mod,- it got worse. The dialogue option menu is too big along with the skill tree menu. I don't know how to fix that issue. But I guess I can try something stupid that technically might not work.
Edit: Using your mod along with widescreen scale remover fixed the dialogue option menu but the not the Skill Tree menu ... I'm out of ideas at this point.
You can only install MCM from my mod... Just unpack my flies and copy file from desired MCM folder to interface folder. I know it won't have Dear Diary skin, but it should work :)
No, the MCM is working fine after installing and replacing some files with vortex (I should've told more about my problems with this, sorry) I'm just having problems with the skill tree being squished or big while using widescreen scale removed
Can you make widescreen patch for Quest Journal Fix for SkyUI? Difficulty Persistence Fix included here doesn't work with pre 1.6.1130 and this one works with all game versions.
Bump! I noticed that "Quest Journal Fix" (works with all versions) is included in NORDIC UI installer branch, but when I select SKYUI there's only "Difficulty Persistence Fix" available, which doesn't work with versions below 1.6.1130. Can you include "Quest Journal Fix" for SKYUI?
I have been searching all over for info about widescreen support in the latest vanilla exe and everything seems to say they did a half arsed job and this mod is still required. It might be worth a sticky post to confirm if this still works with the latest build and if the install / setup steps have changed (please!) I have blocked updates on steam until I know I can get it to work since this mod is invaluable and makes the game so much better. Thanks very much!
In case others find this useful: the Bethesda widescreen fix makes the default interface work fine (at least at 3440x1440) but screws up SkyUI. Once you have reminded yourself how awful the default interface is, install SkyUI and this mod just like before... NOTE that the new FOMOD includes a lot of the extra fixes you used to need, making this mod even better than it was before!

EDIT: I'm stupid. I wasn't letting this mod overwrite better dialogue/messagebox controls.
I disabled it and it no longer does this.
Any idea why? (I'm using the SkyUI version)

It's also a little weird that loading screens are pushed to the right
