tuns out the mod wasn't initializing until i joined my first faction, instead of on game start and mcm menu displaying the menu for "you are not in any factions" *using 1.1.11 ESL
I know it's an old problem, but the solution to this is type setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1 in the console. This gonna reset (or reload) all the mcm menus.

I have a question - is it possible to separate Factions words for translation? wht i mean really - the translation file contains word "Factions" if i translate it so i get translated "factions" inside mod mcm menu and the Main name of your mod in main mcm mods menu.
I dunno how explain but i prefer to have all my mods by english names at main MCM menu. But if possible i translate containing of some mods to my language.
the screenshot is below if needed. as u see on it - i left Factions untranslated to save main mod name in english. Translating main mod name also changes its order at MCM menu show which is not nice cuz MCM put non eng words in the end but i prefer to have it in start or near it. + i like english language and i like all mods at MCM are on english by names. Hope i explained i mean.

It checks the "GetOutOfJail" variables that guards use to check if you are Thane, and also checks each "Favor" quest that handles the Thaneship for each hold if the right stage is done.
Trying to do OAR mod, where I need to have condition that checks if player is Thane for each hold. Not familiar with guard variables or quest stage checks, but I'll see if I can make it work somehow.
Curious about the guard check, is the Favor quest check not enough alone?
Originally I used the dialogue variable check, but it's not a perfect check, so I also added in the Favor quest checks to be more thorough. So if one isn't working right, surely the other works at least.
The favor quests were all 25X numbers, except for FreeformRiftenThane, and the names in them should show which hold they're for. The stage is 25, except for Riften which is 200.
Awesome! This was exactly what I was looking for. It had been too long, and I couldn't remember if I were in the Bards College or not yet. Really straightforward and perfect, so much so that I'm at a loss why it's not in the vanilla game. Thank you!
That's strange then, it goes by the faction rank set by the game for the Thieves Guild, so it should be working if you finished everything. I don't think a mod would change that either, so that wouldn't be it.
