Unfortunately no. If someone wants to make a patch for it, then I will add the file but I was not planning on doing it. The only patches I would make would be for iNeed or RND.

@fiskin1 an iNeed patch wouldn't be needed because the game lets you categorize any food item from other mods.

Oh that’s awesome. Thanks for letting me know. I will update the list accordingly. I don’t use iNeed so I appreciate the info

I thought so as well, but I just tried this with iNeed and it did not let me set the category! I can confirm that it's working with other custom food, so something seems to be amiss.

Great mod. Thanks for making it, fiskin1!

Your welcome. Thats odd that it doesnt work with iNeed. I may need to run both in xEdit and find out whats going on. I have to work today but might be able to check it out when I get home.

iNeed is acting strange. I just had the pop-up finally appear for the mushroom soups. Then it began to appear for vanilla food... then it stopped again.

Do you have this mod above or below iNeed?

I decided to revisit this now that I have some SSEEdit experience.

The problem is these soups are missing the keyword VendorItemFood [KYWD:0008CDEA], which allows iNeed to detect that the item is an unknown food and run the identification script. Without it, you have to manually turn on the categorization mode, eat each mushroom soup, and then turn it off.

In spite of how it looks, I don't think that keyword on its own will make taverns and such sell the soups. I think they would also need to be added to a leveled list which was in the chest of the taverns, but I am not 100% sure on that.

Well the good news is that the file can be modified as Jokerine gave open permission to do so. I can definitely go into the CK and made any necessary adjustments to do so. Not a problem. Or I can just load up iNeed and make a patch with xEdit I suppose. I am off the next couple days and can check it out.

Was anyone able to get this to work with iNeed by adding that keyword in? Is it possible to do that myself with SSEEdit? I'm afraid to mess with it myself--not too knowledgeable about adjusting mods.

I just double checked with both load orders, and in both cases the dialog box never appears and the soups don't effect hunger.

Found a little bug here, too.  50 points for zero seconds!  (Dunno if the bug is with the text or the effect. )

Hmm. Thats very odd. I have been sick the last 3 days and havent had the chance to play much. Those images i posted are from my game and not from the Oldrim images that Jokerine posted. However keep in mind that I don’t use iNeed. Perhaps a patch needs to be made after all

Thanks. I made sure to do a search for this kind of thing before porting it over. Didn't want to be redundant ;)
