This is a converted mod from the original skyrim. I am not the author but I will do my best to answer any questions.
The description is copied from the original mod but for the most part should be applicable. Just be aware that any links in it will be pointing to original Skyrim mods, not Special Edition mods.
DO NOT attempt to install the oldrim mods mentioned in the original description as it probably wont work at best and at worst it will destroy the universe.
This mod manages where your followers work and live - up to 250 followers. Number of active followers will be determined by whichever follower management mod you use. Aft allows 5 at one time. Whats great about this mod is that you can assign your inactive followers a place to work and live until you need them.
Just wanted to let others in my situation know that I upgraded from MHiYH found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7096?tab=description (created by Vokek, converted to SSE by Allie1718 and uploaded by FakeTails)
and everything is working great. All I did was disable MHiYH in NMM and install MHiYH 2plus and activate it. All of my followers are still where I left them, and now I can teleport to them, see how many there are, etc. It's a great improvement.
For those asking about iAFT, I have only been using MHiYH 2plus a short while but I think I can also verify that it works just fine with iAFT as that's what I'm using and I've had no issues yet.
Huge piles of thank yous to Volek, Smashly, JohnNav and BChick3 for this awesomeness!!
I forced the bandit leader to become a companion and added an immortality attribute, it made other bandit leaders cannot be killed, setessential <base_id> 0 not working. How to remove immortality?
hello, can someone help me? I have always used this mod but now I don't understand why it doesn't work. I try to use 'this is our new home' but I get an error: the house is not supported. I used 'Alternate start' starting from Breezhome and all the followers are still there, but my house is another, how can I solve the problem? latest version of the game installed
Anyone know if this works with v1.5.97.0 of Skyrim SE and SKSE v2.0.20? I'm using Nolvus and would like to add this to the list assuming it works and doesn't also destroy the universe (or corrupt my save files).
I have the latest Skyrim SE Anniversary Edition from Steam with all the added content. When I tell the followers this is a new home base, they leave and go back to their original location if I do a few missions without them. That has never happened before. I wonder if it is because of all the added content steam adds.
I have the latest version of Skyrim AE and everything works correctly, maybe there is a problem with your load order and it is conflicting with some other mod, I don't think it is necessary to start a new game for this mod to work.
I'm using EFF and Sofia Follower mods with this and was getting the Sofia walks away and teleports back to me bug. I went to the MHIYH Mod Configuration tab and under Homies 001 to 020 tab I had Sofia as my first selection. Under Forget about... selection I picked Evict to remove her from all the markers. Now she follows correctly again.
Do not use MHIYH, a follower manager or a custom homes ability to have a custom AI Follower do anything. If the follower has their own management functions so use them and not some other mod.
I have been testing this mod to finally move my spouse in a much better looking home than a vanilla one, although there is one issue I've encountered so far: the spouse shop breaks if you register them in the new follower system; they don't have money anymore and won't generate the shop list, but their inventory will end up being on sale.
That depends, custom follower abilities can be all over the place. Is the follower really custom, like custom AI and quests? Does the follower use some or any base AI & packages? I've never had any serious issues with MHIYH, or not had it work for a follower. AFT (SE AE) will work on custom followers but it is best not to mess with custom followers until all their quests are done, including assigning them a Home using MHIYH or a follower manager or a custom player homes ability to do the same.
