Sorry for the small rant, but having hiked the appalachian trail over 2 <3-month increments my legs were sometimes noodles, I had blisters and struggled to maintain weight that I didn't have to loose but one thing I always always without exception was, was well-rested. It was something we marveled at among ourselves. Easy wake-up, no brain fog all day long, mentally relaxed and enjoying the surroundings despite the physical challenge.
The idea that can only get well rested in a bed with a roof over your head is the artifice of modern civilization and ignorance of Maryland programers who are aghast that camping means sleeping on the ground rather than in a lodge or at the very least an RV.
It's out of place in a medieval analog game and keep continuously searching the nexus for somebody that has rectified this issue.
This is the closest thing I have ever found so thank you for that and here's to hoping that some day the option will be adjusted or at least configurable.
Thank you. Your "rant", as you call it, is appreciated. As a biologist, I can certainly agree that humans in developed countries have largely lost their touch with nature, and that even causes some health issues. If you're a parent, let your kid get dirty. Let insects into your house. If you have a yard, let it grow wild (your pets will love it !) Humans need to learn again how to live with nature. How to respect it, and not try to dominate it. In the end, nature always dominates us. The sooner we understand and accept it, the healthier we live.
Do you know if this is compatible with mods that edit fatigue values? I have Simple Survival Mode Tweaks (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/61845), and I'm hoping since it only tweaks values it might work with this.
Hello! Sorry If I don't add anything to the question, I was just wondering if you figured out if they're compatible? I'm also using Simple Survival Mode Tweaks and would like to pair it up with this one.
Unfortunately this mod is bugged in the latest version 1.6.640. When you sleep with this mod active, you do not recover the rest status, on the contrary, the character becomes more tired.
hola instale este parche pensando que iba a solucionar mi problema de querer dormir en el campamento con mi bolsa de dormir y me saca del juego una ves que selecciono las horas para dormir.... :( si alguien sabe como solucionarlo se agradeceria
Works perfectly with the Camping Lite mod and any outside bedrolls. Thanks much. Was really annoyed that survival mode wasn't allowing sleep outside to recover any tiredness. I'm running Skyrim SE version 1.6.353.0.8
I had the mod Survival Mode Camp Tweak, that made the Campfire mod give Warmth, etc. Somehow Vortex links that vanished mod with this one here : Sleep under the stars.
I am guessing maybe Vortex does so because it was the same author ? (I forget) [a recent Vortex update had bugs, so who knows] If so, Lorian/4ris, may I say Camp Tweak was useful and I see some users looking for such a mod.
