After downloading this mod Cathedral Armory, Realistic HD Food, and Total Character Makeover all completely stopped working. Now after uninstalling this mod and reinstalling those other three multiple times I still can't get them to work, does anyone have any ideas?
Trying to get the racemenu plugin to work, but no matter what I do I can't get it to. Warpaints for other races don't appear anywhere in racemenu after install. :-/
You all need to go to the Makeup tab, click on one of the columns. By default the colour is set to nearly invisible so just fix the colour by dragging the sliders towards the middle until it's something you all can see. Then go back and click on 'Choose Texture'. Now you can choose the warpaint, adjust to the colour you actually want, and Talos' your uncle.
One thing "vanilla" to "mod" pics, in my game the vanilla tattoos are not that pixelated as shown in the images here, and I have no mods than fix the warpaints installed.
This by extension is also perfect, wanted something vanilla but looking at orcs made me want to throw up. Now they only make me want to throw up due to their incredible overbite. So good
Yes but it won't do anything if you're talking about mods that included merged tintmasks for each NPC already (unless you regenerate them all with this mod's files loaded).
If you want these textures to apply to NPCs, you will have to generate new facegen files in Creation Kit (only textures are needed, meshes can be discarded).
Hey there! How do I go about doing this? Just open this mod on creation kit, then select the vanilla npcs then ctrl f4? I was also wondering if I could do this with the Botox NPC patcher.
Open CK (if you're using MO2 you'll have to launch it through MO2), load plugins that contain NPCs you want to generate new facegen files for, then select all NPCs (they are under Actors > Actor) and hit CTRL+F4. This will generate new facegen files.
If you haven't worked up with CK before, I recommend installing SSE Creation Kit Fixes first. There are also some tweaks to CK's ini that need to be done, like allowing multiple masters.
If you have to use the Botox NPC patcher, then do it the way it's described in their sticky post. But if you only want to update warpaints and makeup, you could also try "DisableExportNIF" in SSE Creation Kit Fixes and ditch the patcher. This way CK would only generate new textures and wouldn't touch meshes.
I could play skyrim for 8 straight hours and probably look at my own character for 15 seconds. I also would have liked the rather verbose description to mention this upfront.
The only mods that do what you want are ones that literally include pre-generated facegen NIFs and their corresponding merged texture overlays lol. There's no reason you'd expect this mod to automatically impact NPCs...

I wish to make use of the glow effect...
