Now we need this to feed into one of the Zombie Apocalypse mods, where it turns out the spell tome was provided by a group of necromancers and you provided all the corpses for the original outbreak.
The corpse removal is based on a method Skyrim uses internally for cleaning them up. From what I recall, the way it works is by first just hiding the corpse, and then it'll remove it after the cell is unloaded from memory.
(Leaving a cell won't usually unload it, as cells tend to stick around in memory after you leave them.)
@ZauberParacelsus Thanks a lot, I like this mod ! From your description, "This spell is further modified by your alteration skill level" - so that means the higher alteration skill level, the more gold we get ? If this is right, can we have an optional version that is modified by our level character instead ( higher level procedure more gold ) ?
Not implemented as of yet. When it gets implemented will probably depend on whether or not I have enough spoons or if I get burned out on Skyrim yet again.
Is it bad that I wish this was based on Restoration instead of Alteration? Maybe provide another means of gaining Restoration skill experience as well.
It makes me think of raising the Prayer stat in Runescape by burying bones.
There was a mod like this for Oblivion, that made the corpse disappear and a random amount of gems were added to the player's inventory (with a message which kind of gems were added). This would be a cool option for this mod too.
I think it would be cool if the coin amount where dependent upon Speech skill as well. You should only get 100% (or even 90 max) at 100 speech skill otherwise it is exploitable.
I installed the mod yesterday and found out that you can literally turn a corpse to a Better merchant with more high price, for example you have ebony Battleaxe worth 2880 for me if I sell it to any other trader it get down to 1663. instead I just place it in a corpse before I send it to oblivion's Warlord organ trader, and any other item I don't need and get full amount of money. That's fun and entertaining.
Can anyone tell me how much money a corpse gives up? I realize it varies according to the corpse but what kind of ball park are we looking at, some kind of range, like 100 to 1000.
Did a bit of experimentation. Common bandits are worth 1 to 3 septims. Wolves are 1 septim. Deer, rabbits, mudcrabs and the like go for a septim. Skeevers go for 2. You ain't getting rich with this mod, buts that's okay. It's a good reason to clean up after yourself, Dovah, and get a few coins as well.
It is calculated based on the level of the slain creature plus their health/fatigue/magicka (whichever is highest), and player skill in Alteration. The value of any loot on the corpse will also be factored in.
Personally, I find the amounts just fine. A dragon nets maybe 20 coins and up, a bandit is worth 1 to 15 or so. I just like the ability to get rid of all the corpses that are laying about, particularly the dragon bodies. The extra few coins is just an added benefit.

I have a minimap mod and the corpse icon after using the spell on persistent corpses does not go away.
