26/11/18 Essentially backdated Husky/Death Hound variants to what they were initially...
I believe my issues are being caused by re-pointing the CK to \data\scripts rather than the default \data\source\scripts, therefore when I have made changes the scripts (fragments) did not copy over.
**Please let me know if you have a Stray Husky/Death Hound and are unable to open dialogue/have issues with any other follower, and I will look at adding the fragments into the mod so they go in the \data\scripts folder.
This mod works great for me even in latest version Skyrim AE (1170). However I think to move to another extensive follower framework like EFF, to give the dog a relaxing sandbox rather than just waiting in place. Also to improve or train his stats.
For people having issues with getting this mod to function I fond one potential cause. This mod is incompatible with "Pet the Dog". A bit of a shame, but not particularly surprising since both mods make changes to the same furry pal.
After installing, in MO2, on the left side, I see that this mod conflicts with Nethers Follower Framework (NFF). This mod has basically an .esp (ESL flagged) and a script, and the script directly conflicts with one in NFF. Will it still work? What should be both the mod order and the load order? BTW, NFF does have some ability to handle dog companions... Not sure about strays, though.
I can't seem to get the stray dog to stay anywhere. Doesn't matter where or how many times I tell him to wait somewhere, when I dismiss him he wanders off to the wilderness.
Awesome. I have such an amazing ongoing love story with the Stray Dog you find near Helgen, I love him more than any other dog in the game. Will definitely be downloading and endorsing this. Thanks!
