LockedStickyFor those who would like a bit more information about installation:
-Any AOS or SoS patches that you were previously using for either True Storms, Aequinoctium, or both can be safely replaced by the patches provided here. This patch was created to completely merge both mods into one experience, so you can basically think of it as its own weather mod in need of its own patches.
-You only need to have ONE of the available four versions loaded, meaning that you should not have both the main version and its respective Water Fix version loaded at the same time, just choose one or the other. The only real difference between these two versions is the fog levels, so if you like having lots of fog in all of your weathers, just stick to the main version. If you would like to tone down the fog levels in your weathers and you are bothered by the blocky water edges that can appear during foggy weathers, then I would definitely recommend using the Water Fix version.
-This patch can also replace the True Storms + Aequinoctium patch provided by the authors of Aequinoctium, as it does exactly the same thing plus a bit more in the visual department.
Hope that helps! :)

*ALSO* Just a friendly reminder that there is a bug section. It is 1,000 times easier for authors to fix and keep track of bugs and glitches when you post them in the bug report section, rather than in the comments, so if you find any strange visual glitches or places where the mod isn't working, please post it there instead of in the comments :) It would be greatly appreciated. If you do, please remember to mention what setup you have, which version you are using, and if you are using an ENB. Thank you! -
LockedStickyUp to date for these versions of all related mods:
Aequinoctium Weathers and Seasons - V1.65
True Storms SSE - V1.01 **Most likely will not update again anytime soon.
Audio Overhaul SSE - V3.0.0
Sounds of Skyrim Complete SE - V1.6
**I do plan on keeping my patches up to date with the latest versions, but as I have quite a few to manage at this point, I would greatly appreciate any friendly reminders if it seems as though I missed an update :) Thank you! -
Hello. What I should do with bad night and I see not much variants of the weather. 1-2 days I see rain. All night so not beauty. I just want cool weather with cool picture. I like color gamma in this patch. I like light in interior, when I have stormy weather on the street, but not much variants of the weather and bad night

I installed this mod patch along with Truestorms and Aeq during Hearthfire. It's now Frostfall, about a month since I installed teh mods and it hasn't rained once!
Is this a known issue, or are the Winter months in Aeq really that low on rain? This is my first time using the Aeq Weather mod so I have no clue. -
what do u think of making a compatibility patch for climates of tamriel and true storm?
-
Hello, I am running Sounds of Skyrim Civilization, AOS, and ISC. Along with Aequinoctium, True Storms, and Supreme Storms.
Here is my file order, please tell me if I have made any mistakes, or if im using a redundant patch.

anyone having issues where its daylight inside and nightime outside?
-
in reference to Aequinoctium being updated. then I read below.
Also, Is True Storms effected at all by the seasons like Aequinoctium or are True Storms weathers not influenced by the seasons?-
Is there a reason why true storms specific weathers would occur much rarer?
My only concern with Aeq is that I just "variety" rather than "dynamic seasons" so you get a mix of seasonal weathers during any season... problem with "variety" is it disables the winter specific weathers, which include blizzards. So I was hoping True storms would come to the rescue here?
-
Gotcha, that make sense with playing using dynamic seasons. My gripe with seasons is on the default time scale an in game year is 440 rl hours if your character doesn't sleep or rest... I play on half time scale so for me it would be closer to 880 hours so I'd pretty much always be playing in the same season unless my character was narcoleptic.
On variety setting though it only cycles between Spring, Summer and Fall, no winter. But on that setting with the true storms merge I'd still be seeing the occasional true storms blizzard/heavy snowfall?
Currently it's the only reason I haven't hopped aboard the Aeq train due to lack of winter weather if I don't play with the seasons enabled... which doesn't make sense in Skyrim.
-
Hm... I don't think Aeq is entirely based on seasonal weathers, as regional weathers appear to still be a factor. Under the description for summer he states " It will not snow at all except in snowy regions"
so it looks like he uses a combination of seasonal and regional weathers?
Anyway perhaps if/when you have a chance to update this mod to support the newest version of Aequinoctium you could consider slightly increasing the chance of true storms weathers to make it a little more diverse for those who play with "variety" instead of "seasons"
I live in a northern mountainous climate and we get all 4 seasons of weather in all 4 seasons.
Thanks -
aequinoctium ENB was just updated and I think it's the best combination I've seen so far of any weather + enb combos
-
No worries, thanks for your on going support with all these true storm merges!
Looks like most of the authors are slowly working on updating their weather mods and ENB's so your continued interest updates is much appreciated.
Talking to Arindel it seems his weather mods are mostly graphical changes and he doesn't do much to add or change existing weathers beyond the seasonal conditions, so rain and snow storm intensity and variety is largely vanilla... I feel Aeq would certainly benefit from an increased chance of True Storms weather from this merge to make it more interesting and diverse, rather than being very rare to accommodate the seasons. The seasons already differ quite a bit from one another visually, so I'd love to see True storms weathers be slightly more frequent that what they currently are.
Thanks!

New version of Aequinoctium is out does this need an update?
-
First, thanks for all your awesome patches! Second, would you be interested in porting/making patches for a mod that causes effects based on weathers, which I'm assuming you would be right at home with making it compatible with all your patches. It has open permissions and is called "Weather Does Things"
Link:

Awesome! Also, about the permissions, I thought the mod had completely open permissions but I guess I was wrong. However, the author does give permission for someone to port it to SSE (and presumably provide patches if necessary) as long as credit is given. From the comments page on LE:
waylander47 - "I like it. Wondering if it will Port to SSE"
revenant0713 - "I'll see what I can do. I CAN port but may not be able to test it myself, since... as the mod description page mentions, my current machine can't even run SE. I'll get back to you on that within the next 3 days. Got a busy week."
waylander47 - "I ported it myself to SSE. Works fine! Just resaved it in CK."
revenant0713 - "Cool. Upload it if you feel like it, so long as credits are given."
So far nothing has been ported and uploaded AFAIK.

Thanks for this!

Congratulations Ionas177 for your release
"Redistributes all of True Storm's unique weathers into Aequinoctium's regions, taking special care to uphold Aequinoctium's unique seasonal system by only adding some of True Storm's unique weathers in regions where they would fit. This means no rain or heavy fogs in snowy places like Winterhold, for example."
Let me correct you about this, Regions with the seasons system don't work anymore, you have to think as SKYRIM as a unique region, the seasons system work exactly like a normal season should be, this means that rain and heavy fogs should happens also in winterhold in some period of the year, the problem is that you should modify the script of the season to integrate TS effects and that is the major problem, you can contact me privatly eventually cause i'm not sure how your patch will work as you think
