I’m trying to download this on my PS4, but when I try to enable it, there’s an error that says it cannot be enabled because required files are not present. I have the AE, and the 4 required mods, so I’m very confused. Any help on this? Yours is the only mod available for proudspire manor in the “creations” tab on the ps4, so I can’t use one if I can’t use this :(
I can't help with PS4, no idea how that's supposed to work. I can only assure you it uses ONLY vanilla assets, nothing extra, so theoretically it should certainly be available. What I do is path new data entries (such as a storage container that uses a vanilla mesh) to the vanilla files, if that's any help.
Thank you! See Sticky, I don't make patches for mods I don't use, unless doing so would be quick and easy and wouldn't require me to actually have that mod. Like, what specifically is incompatible with Lux, and how could it be patched?
Lux disables all vanilla lighting and replaces it with manually placed lights where it makes sense to have them. I.e. candles and chandeliers provide the lighting. I don't know about making a patch but, if anyone wants to use your mod + Lux a temporary fix would be to load this one after Lux.
1) Small inconsistency with "Enhanced Solitude SSE" where there's a floating pool of water and dwemer gadget in the air. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27816 Trivial to fix in-game by opening the console, clicking on the two offending objects and typing "disable".
2) The shrines cost 100 gold in Survival mode. Shrines in Creation Club homes (like CC Myrwatch or CC Hendraheim) with Survival Mode on are free to use so there must be a way to fix it.
But great mod! I really, really prefer using vanilla house mods for consistency with spouse and child AI packages like "Improved Adoptions". https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4713?tab=files And also because of advanced mod characters (Vilja, SDA, etc.) whose AI recognizes vanilla + Hearthfire homes but not random mod homes.
Your mod provides all the benefits of a Hearthfire home + more without the problems other Proudspire mods have (one had a bed you can only lie down on from one side; another had a pool which was completely inaccessible...). And I actually kind of prefer not having all the display places since I like backstabbing evil Daedra like Mehrunes Dagon, Vaermina, or Molag Bal instead of completing their quests like they ask.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like it! Inconsistencies and conflicts with other mods are bound to happen with popularly modded locations. How does #2 have anything at all to do with my mod? All I do is place some shrines around. I don't edit cost or price, and I don't have any CC things beyond the free ones included in AE.
#2 comes from CC Survival mode. There is a way to fix it but if you can afford Proudspire, you can afford to pay for the shrine so it's not a big deal.
No idea, going to need more detail. Where exactly are these? I didn't notice any floating candles. Have any mods for lighting or anything else affecting the Home? I've no idea why you couldn't tag and disable something... "More Informative Console" will tell you if they're actually from my mod or something else.
If someone has problem with invisible wall in child bedroom: This is alternate start problem(If you choose variant with this manor), you need to buy home in other variants, and buy child room upgrade
I never officially upgraded to AE, but I still have USSEP. Which version to I pick? Am I just SoL?
edit: just tried the one with AE. No issues! No conflicts either. There's a single floating candle on the main floor, but no missing walls, no clipping objects. I think this is the first Proudspire Manor mod I've tried, even among "lore friendly" edits, not to have a single issue other than some apples and dishes colliding with each other upon initial load, and the master bedroom being a tad dark. I can't tell you how many Proudspire Manor mods I've tried. They ALL have issues. Yours doesn't.
Except with Distinct Interiors probably. can't get that mod series to work with anything. Its not very friendly to other interior overhauls. XD
Do you use ELFX by any chance? I noticed the floating candle, too, on the main floor right in the entrance to the stairwell, placed by ELFX. There are also a few missing wall parts in the kids bedroom that are disabled until you purchase the kids bedroom.
I've got a patch for this and ELFX integration. It also reduces some flicker that can occur because light sources are being added. I'll upload when I get a chance.
I have a small question before installing this mod: the description says that I need to have the Anniversary Edition and the 4 free CC mods, but those 4 mods (Survival Mode, Rare Curios, etc) are also in the Special Edition. So I can use this mod if I have Skyrim SE (plus USSEP), right?

I had a dumb question about your merged mod, but after looking at the Posts there, I see I was *really* dumb.
A couple of small issues:
1) Small inconsistency with "Enhanced Solitude SSE" where there's a floating pool of water and dwemer gadget in the air.

Edit: Not just the first floor, theres also one in the main bedroom.

Anyway, endorsed. Thanks a billion.
