Dragons have massive pools of health, stupidly high armour rating, and/or an incredibly (200+) high resistance to magic. All of these are caused by either the user setting the sliders to ridiculously high settings or the multiple perk bug in Skyrim. Setting the sliders to reasonable values and using SSE Engine Fixes will fix these issues. NOTE: dragons in the active area will not be affected by any slider settings, you need to leave the area for some time to force the affected dragon/s to despawn.
Do NOT use with other mods that modify dragon's stats or combat in any way. You WILL have issues.
It would be cool that instead of a purely vanilla dragon loremonger version, The Akaviri Dragons could be elder dragons, or we could even pick specifically which dragons we want to include or not.
That was going to be an option in 7.0.0 but due to the changes on the Nexus it will never see the light of day as the guy who rewrote the entire MCM no longer wants to have anything to do with the nexus, and the texture artist also no longer whats her work to be hosted here. All around a very shitty situation, but understandable. I am also tired of the crap I've been getting for my creation club integration mods via PM and discord and users demanding things like I'm paid to be their personal assistant, so I am distancing myself as much as possible.
Consider this mod to be on life support until further notice. If you want to pick up development where moose's team left, feel free to contact moose109 or the original author for permission. The mod works fine as it is, and I'm doing my best to make any improvements that I am capable of and address any critical issues that may arise.
Bro wtf this neverending overpowered elemental pools that come with dragon breathes? Can disable this sh*t on MCM? It makes dragon fights just annoying and stupid since this elemental pools melt your health in 1 second.
And the fact that these pools takes forever to despawn, it starts to cause performance issues. This is the only mod that gives me performance issues. https://imgur.com/ElBThzr
I mean, why is it so OP and why it takes so long to despawn? Doesnt make any sense at all, it's just annoying. I'm really considering disabling this mod rn. Instead of making dragon fights more epic, it turns it unbearable. I downloaded this mod to make dragons have tons of health, but it completely breaks dragon fights since every breath they do are insta-kills with this elemental pool non sense.
Why don't you just put their sliders up to 1000% damage then? It says it's deadly, isn't that right? Dont be stupid. There's a very clear line between hard/deadly and annoying/dishonest.
I tested several different mods in turn that change dragons on the same save, and in the end I had an error where I couldn't absorb the souls of dragons that were in locations with a dragon's lair, where there are still walls of words. But if I spawned a dragon using the console and killed it, then I was able to absorb its soul. Before installing this mod, I also tried KS Dragon Overhaul 2 and Dragon War. It's clear that this is my fault, since I decided to check and delete different mods in one save. In the end, I settled on this mod, but since my previous save is broken, now I have to start a new game and I'm still afraid that this particular mod broke the dragon souls and even on a clean save I won't be able to absorb them. And one more question. Is this mod compatible with Chaos Dragons?
Does anyone else have the problem of the named dragon Vuljotnaak not taking any magic damage and melee damage only doing basically paper cuts? The dragon is located south of Sleeping Tree Camp. I have the SSE engine fixes, and the dragon magic resistance slider is at 20%. Every other dragon is able to be killed.
I just went through this now! He took longer than 30mins to kill because i could only hack and slash him for baby damage when he decided to land. All magic and shouts were ineffective! I need to know if this is going to happen with other "named" dragons.
Do you have SSE Engine Fixes installed? There is a bug where perk effects are applied twice to nearby NPCs when the game is loaded, it is fixed by the mod.
There have also been reports of the bonus stats from DD being applied multiple times to the same dragon in rare cases, but I have recently implemented a safeguard that should prevent that from happening. If it's somehow still happening then it might be related to how Vuljotnaak is spawned and the fact that you probably load him in his disabled state many times as you run around the plains of Whiterun before finally encountering him when he's resurrected. That shouldn't cause him to gain extra stats but the engine is weird so who knows if it somehow bypasses every safeguard. Other than that he's just a completely ordinary, randomly generated dragon who gets assigned a name.
It's hard to say with certainty what the cause is. What I can say is that it's rare.
Yes, I have engine fixes installed. If i get this issue again with another named dragon or with Alduin, I will come back and let you know. In the meantime I will double check my configuration for SSE Engine fixes.
Some MCM settings are not working. Dragons still spawning in towns with safe zones ON Dragons still using special abilities (ground trails) when toggled OFF Timer doesn't seem's to be working either
Would it be possible to add a toggle that makes Dragons immune to non-legendary skills, and non Shout damage?
I like the idea of needing to Legendary a skill before being able to do damage to a dragon with it. Would definitely extend the early part of my playthrough in an interesting way.
Pretty sure this mod has a compatiblity issue with JK's Skyrim as im getting dragon assualts in city's even though they should be flagged as safe, im assuming its an issue where jk's citys arent being flagged cause they arent vanilla but maybe the mod simply isnt working right?
I installed the normal version (not the loremonger version) and for some reason dragons from this mod do not spawn at all. I can search for them via console but they never spawn in the level list. Vanilla dragons though have the abilities of DD.
Any solutions to this? I have no other mod that touches dragons

So, sorry, but will not be happening.
