Patches are available from kryptopyr's Patch Hub
Fishing Map Markers, Lux, Lux Orbis, Open Cities Skyrim

Where permissions have allowed, a small number of third-party patches have been updated for Atlas Map Markers v3 and included in its FOMOD installer, as the original authors are not currently available to update or have left Skyrim modding entirely. By including these updated patches here, rather than on kryptopyr's Patch Hub, they are more likely to correctly overwrite the original patches in the event the originals are inadvertently installed. Currently, updated patches have been provided for Delphine's Map Reveals Dragon Mounds, Obscure's College of Winterhold, and Ultimate College of Winterhold.

using Atlas map marker + CNO,

I have map markers near my whiterun pointing up.

I used TMM 1 to see what the marker actually is.

And they are from the soul cairn.  No conflicts on Xedit asside from LUX winning.

I wonder what the problem is.

For someone in the bug reports it was being caused by a Synthesis patch. Are you using Lux Orbis as well? If so, there's a patch in the patch collection linked in the sticky above which may resolve the issue.

Yes I have all lux and lux orbis patch and the Krptopyr patch hub patches.

      I have no syntehsis patches.

I'm assuming this is caused by DLL mods?
      Maybe by CNO?

Idk really. I am "okay" with looking at xedit and no confclits lead to map markers records being edited like in my case "St jiubs blabla"  and more soul cairn stuff...

make sure atlas is at the lowest possible spot in your load order and if you're using flat world map framework, you'll either have to deal with those extra icons and disable them in the mcm or not use fwmf. thats what ive found anyway, they dont seem to work well together, regardless of what the mod description says.

The bottom line is that Atlas' changes to the Blackreach, DLC01FalmerValley, and DLC01SoulCairn worldspaces need to "win", unless you're using a dedicated map mod for those worldspaces (such as the FWMF Blackreach, Forgotten Vale, or Soul Cairn mods). If you're experiencing issues and you're using a bashed or synthesis patch, you'll want to review its change to those worldspace records. Given other mods like lighting and water overhauls may also edit these worldspaces, if you're not using a bashed patch, best practice would be to have some sort of conflict resolution file for manually resolving conflicts to these records; given the number of mods potentially editing them, relying on author-provided patches is only going to get you so far.

As far as I know there weren't previously any issues with FWMF, but it looks like things may have changed with FWMF 1.9. Consequentially, I've put together patches for the seven different versions of the FWMF .esp (choose the appropriate one for your version of FWMF), which I'll be including the next update of kryptopyr's Patch Hub. These should load before any dedicated worldspace map mods (such as the aforementioned FWMFs for Blackreach, Forgotten Vale and the Soul Cairn).

The relevant worldspace records, for anyone looking in SSEEdit, are:

      • Blackreach "Blackreach" [WRLD:0001EE62]
      • DLC01FalmerValley "Forgotten Vale" [WRLD:02000BB5]
      • DLC01SoulCairn "Soul Cairn" [WRLD:02001408]

      Hello,

So i'm having the same issues listed here. I'm using the patches listed here in this mod comment's page but I'm having Blackreach markers in the Skyrim overworld. How can I address this?

      Cheers.

I've noticed at least some of the "main" FWMF plugins also include Tamriel as a parent for some of those worldspaces ("FWMF for Fantasy Paper Maps.esp" does for the Soul Cairn, for example), which will also cause this issue. Given the number of different main FMWF plugins, I don't think creating patches for each one is really a viable option and I worry it would only cause further confusion.

If you're going to use FWMF, I would suggest going "all in", as if you use FWMF Blackreach, FWMF Soul Cairn, etc., those files also remove the parent worldspace and you won't run into this issue.
This fix was suggested before by DrMonops and it fixed my issue. Just get maps for all the worldspaces from the flat map framework and rearrange them correctly at the bottom of your load order.

I'm using A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56367). What would be the fix for that?

For some reason, the map markers for Blackreach, Soulcairn overlap on the normal tamriel map on whiterun.

What do you have loading after this mod? Atlas Map Markers removes Tamriel as a parent for those worldspaces, but it sound like another mod is adding them back after.

DynDOLOD will do that, so make sure load atlas map markers.esp after DynDOLOD.esp and Occlusion.esp

I have this same issue. I do not have dyndolod and the only thing loading after this in the plugins list are the FLAT MAPS for skyrim, Bruma and wyrmstooth

Any specific reason why the shortcut to Ragged Flagon was removed in v2.1? I really had no idea where it gone now that I updated this mod. :)

This is what kryptopyr had to say about it at the time:
It never really seemed like it belonged as part of a map marker mod, and it felt like a reach to include it in the mod. Plus, the location has always bothered me (it skips past one of the main trigger boxes used by the Thieves Guild quests, so quest stages may not get triggered properly if you use the shortcut during the TG questline).

Yes, that should be fine as long as you're not upgrading from an earlier version.

sorry if this is a stupid question, but while everything looks good on the compass (using comap) all the new markers seem to just be circles on the world map. did i make a mistake?

I think that may be one of the options during CoMAP installation. I suggest reinstalling CoMAP and that should hopefully resolve things for you.

The map markers should be the same for the overworld and local maps (if I've misunderstood your edit, please excuse me).

Amazing mod my friend, truly amazing...just a question: see, I am currently running through blackreach again to just discover the map markers there, and the map in blackreach is really bugged...so...I have two questions...
-Do I have to doenload another mod to fix the map in blackreach?
-Is there any patch for the mod completionist?
(This mod actually fixed an exploit that completionist added, the fishing spot inside blackreach does not appear for me in the skyrim map anymore, only in the blackreach bugged one haha)

While I've never had any issues with our Blackreach map, I've heard it can be buggy depending on your map settings. That said, I haven't used it in a very long time. For a vanilla-style map, I would recommend using the Blackreach map from A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds; my preference is for flat maps though, so I'm currently using Blackreach Paper Map for FWMF.

There's not currently a patch for Completionist, but I could certainly put one together. Other than the fishing markers, is there anything else in it that you think requires patching?

No...just so all the new locations enter the accounting places to discover...

And I tried that mod "a clear map..." But I think it only fixes black reach map if the player uses dyndolod(I gave up using it,too much hassle)...because in my game the blackreach map stayed the same thing...

If anyone is using Experience and has found a good balance for which markers to turn off vs leave on in the MCM, please post your MCM choices. I'm going through them now myself but thought I'd ask others for opinions.

    Hello,

I'm a bit confused about the optional file. I cannot update to v 3.0+ because I'm already just about done with my playthroug. I'm using the 2.71 version of this mod. How do I install the optional file as M02 is pointing out there is no active data directory?

    Cheers!

MO2 is a little obtuse when it doesn't see certain folders or file types, but the folder structure is correct. The simplest option would be to merge it into your existing CoMAP installation and it will replace Atlas Map Markers.json. Alternatively, you can ignore the MO2 warning, select "OK", and it will get added as a new mod, although it will show as having no valid game data. Double-click on it, go to the "Filetree" tab, and create a new, empty folder called "textures", which will satisfy MO2.

It will be the most up-to-date version of the CoMAP config for the mod. Due to compacting for esl-flagging in v3, it wasn't feasible to backport the other changes, unfortunately.
