You should be able to update pretty easily. 1. Uninstall anything from previous AGO versions. 2. Load your save and make a new Save 3. Install AGO 1.3.2 and if you use BFQ, install BFQ Support
You have to do this to update the scripts.
If above doesn't work:

1. Uninstall AGO files. 2. Load your game, make a new save in the menu (not quicksave), and exit the game. 3. Open a script cleaner like Save game script cleaner, open your save file, and delete any of the following scripts by selecting them and pressing Delete Script in the top left.
4. In the top right of the script cleaner, hit Save. Make a backup if you want. 5. Repeat this steps 2-4 for any other saves that have this mod installed. 6. Install the new version normally.
For those of you who just want to use the animations. You have two options:

Option 1. Install normally and disable everything in the MCM
Option 2. Only install the files from meshes/actors/ and meshes/weapons/. If you do this, the bow bash won't lodge arrows into other characters, and female characters won't have the right sized bows for the animations.
I've noticed when i move my right joystick quickly in any directionit draws my but unintentionally or bashes if it is already out... driving me crazy now unable to fix it :P
i have a similar issue, although i have stamina drain turned off and it still drains no matter what. i have the equip and uneqip drain as well. i have blade and blunt as well so what did you do to solve it?
even though i have the arm strain option unticked in the mcm i still drain stamina when holding a drawn bow, taking the AND putting the bow on my back and even a little when i simply walk after equipping the bow. other than a sound mod and arrows and bolts tweaks i dont have anything that touches bow related things. any idea why this is happening? the stamina drain is quite annoying
I've been having a problem where NPCs pretty much refuse to shoot at target dummies. They fire once, then simply stop, nothing is blocking their path to prevent them from shooting. Otherwise, everything else works just fine, NPCs fight normally with bows and such. It's not a massive deal, but I'm sure we all know about farming arrows from these NPCs.
So i downloaded the mod, the animations seem to kind of work, but when i fire an arrow the character grabs another one and nocks it but the arrow is invisible any idea why?
EDIT: Found out it isn't compatible with Rapid Bow Combo V3. uninstalled
Can anyone tell me how to get this working with FNIS 7.6 or later? I see comments that say use FNIS 7.4.5 but that is five years out of date. Do I just need to leave it uninstalled?
Does anyone know how to get rid of the reticle/crosshair flickering(or reseting?) constantly? It also seems to stop stamina regen temporarily whenever it's happening.
Using True Directional Movement, MoreHUD and TrueHUD, none of which are mentioned in the description where it mentions how to fix the reticle/crosshair reseting.
disable everything related to camera and crosshair in the MCM options, it worked for me. I think the only thing I have enabled are enchanted arrows and bleeding. Fatigue is fine to keep too of course.

This fixes an issue for FNIS users where the correct sneaking movement animations were not being used if alternate animations were installed.

It's driving me nuts.
