Unmodded and modded saves are now displayed in the main menu (default game behaviour).
Recompiled SKSE64 Loader against SKSE64 2.2.6 (SE should still work)
Notes v1.1+ is compatible with both pre-AE and AE SKSE64. You do not need this mod if you are using SSE Engine Fixes or another that enables achievements with mods.
Not working for you? Make sure you've updated the mod. Make sure your installation matches the image here. Try excluding the dll loader and the achievements dll in your antivirus. Try using SKSE64 instead of my dll loader.
I finally managed to get this to work. If you're struggling like me this is what you need to do.
1) You need to download ALL the requirements. No matter whether you have SKSE64 or not. You need the DLL loader as well as the SSE engine fixes. DLL Loader - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3619 SSE Engine fixes - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230
2) I'd recommend downloading them manually to ensure they go to the right place. Follow the instructions on the mod pages on how to do this.
3) Once all are downloaded, open notepad and type the number "489830" into a blank notepad document, without the ". Then save this text document to the game directory and title the file "steam_appid.txt" without the " but including .txt
This deserves a compliment, I was doing everything right, I just had no idea about this notepad that I should create, I have no idea where you got this information, I haven't seen it anywhere, thank you very much!
Well it did work for a few seconds. But then my game crashes and closes everytime i try to play it. I'm done with it. I guess I'll just uninstall the mods :'c
I think it worked for me, since it doesn't give me a warning that achievements will be disabled, even though I couldn't install the SSE engine fixes properly (I couldn't install the part 2 because the game wouldn't open with it). Now the steam achievements will still be obtainable, right? I'm unsure to try it on my save in case it doesn't work
LOL I can't believe I've been playing one of my side characters for so long and haven't notices that this mod was never actually working. missing many earned achievements while the save file has no marks for a modded file. unbelievable.
I have done everything 3 time step by step it is still not working is it different steps for the steam deck? That is where I'm trying to install it. Please someone help!!
I installed this mod to the GOG version of the ae and doesn't seems to work, I still get the achievements warning and the M on the save. I installed everything manually.
Everything works well on PC in 2025. Just a side note I believe you have to mention that since you have this mod working, using any console commands (i.e. cheats) will notdisableachievements. Thanks for your work.
Does this still work?? I'm trying to install on a Steam Deck bc I can't figure how to get skse to work, but this doesn't do anything. I installed everything according to the directions but the game is still registering mods. I have a mod just like this for FO4 and it works great :c
I'm not an expert, but this mod probably requires SKSE. I'm modding on my steam deck rn and got SKSE to work by following this tutorial by OhNoItsAlexx: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpoHTvJmw-o
Note: if you decide to play/mod skyrim this way, you need to manually download all your mods and then drop/drag them into MO2. Don't bother trying to auto download because it just gave me a huge headache lol
I've installed it after starting a game with mod and get the Achievements warning but it doesn't seems to work. I don't have the "[M]" anymore on my save name but I didn't get achivements I should earn (like lvl 5 for exemple).

I already have a steam_appid.txt in my game directory folder, with a different number than the one you proposed. Do you overwrite it ?
