If you need help with fixing, just post your enbseries.ini on pastebin and i or someone else will help you.

If the preset you used has multi weather support enabled, you have to change every weather.ini or disable it.

Nice guide, but I think seeing the Horizon would be fine if it weren't a square.
Anyone know if there's a way to fix that?

This fix is not bound to any specific ENB. It's just an instruction of how to undo the (sometimes weird or over the top) changes the ENB authors do to the fog and cloud settings.

It will definitely make your ENB preset more foggy and atmospheric, but only because you are "letting through" the original intended look of the weather.

I have the Re-Engaged ENB and Cathedral Weathers and, for some reason, it loves to not sync with the timing of things. Storms start randomly when the sun is out (I assume that's True Storms), but also, my ENB stays bright out despite it getting to night. Though after about an hour or two wait it adjusts. Any advice?

I have exactly this problem with Cathedral Weathers, but I don't use ENB. Does anyone know of any alternative fix?

I don't really understand, I followed your instructions but it does not fix the horizon seam in many cases.

yah, sorry there is more to it then just the parameters you posted. I followed your instructions exactly and it doesn't solve the issue. I have to completely disable ENB Efffect to fix it.

Here is an update patch that fixes a few of the weathers that were not working with your fix because the cloud layer 28 alpha was not 1.0. Also, this contains some other updates.

    Thanks for making this

When picking and enb, they're obviously not going to have a preset for Cathedral, assuming it's one with many options, which Weather mod do you think we should choose? Obsidian? Vanilla? Would love any advice, thanks.

Ok this is awkward, I just tried this on Silent Horizons for Obsidian Weathers, and it didn't work, still major end of the world line. I specifically only replaced the values as noted in the fix file using Notepad++ compare, nothing more, nothing less, including the optional values. And the SkyColorAmount values, which are in the wrong place and I had to find in game.

Any suggestions? Do you think you could get permission from authors to post your altered files? Or maybe I could sneak a peak to compare? lol

While we're on that thought, here's mine: https://pastebin.com/gP6vKtEv <-- doesn't work for some reason

You did everything correctly but multiweather support is on :P Need to change every weather.ini aswell or just disable it.

Edit: As for which preset u should chose, Obsidian is most likely the best option most of the time. Might wanna try "Semirealis" which was released today for CW. It does have a horizon seam that needs to be fixed because the Author preferred his own sky, but other than that its really good.
You can also use the Meditation Power or MCM to adjust everything more to your liking.

EditEdit: I could ask for permissions but there's so many different popular presets and CW isn't that popular yet, so i think its better to just have the users fix it themselves. I will add a sticky post.

Unfortunately that didn't do the trick either, https://imgur.com/VPmoLa6

This is with EnableMultipleWeathers=false, as you can see. What gives?

Also silent horizons has 50 different custom weathers! Damn, changing it in all of those would take forever, if you/someone did it, it'd be enough work to warrant reposting it though :P maybe ask for permissions just for that one, because no one should have to change all 51 files by hand, if it's already been done.

Thanks man, yeah I have NO IDEA why, but yeah, that worked. Fixed the horizon seem right up. -- even though our versions are nearly identical when compared... not sure what went wrong there, thanks for the help.

Might try some other ENBs too, hopefully those ones I'm able to convert myself without issues, ugh! I'll let you know, thanks again!

Someone figured out why it happened and told me, so apparently there's a few Weathers (like maybe 4 or so) that have a horizon seam that could not be removed at all without disabling Sky. And seems you got exactly that one.

Only problem with completely disabling Sky is you can't use Image based Lightning and Cloudshadows as they are dependent on Sky.

Makes sense alright, yeah 1 or two weathers broken or whatever is worth it, just crazy I happened to be testing in that exact one. Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

I tried to follow that little handy guide.
Until firemanaf works (I hope the nex version he will put "Shader Addon V1.5", as well.

So, I changed ini setting. May I ask some to check, if I made it correct, or not?
If you need help with fixing, just post your enbseries.ini on pastebin and i or someone else will help you.

Just changed what that guide include, everything else is untouched.

Hard to decide, cause just now trying CW for a couple of days, so I have no experience. how it is should have look like.
Just now started to try it out, after firemanaf released its own ENB preset.

I do not really notice any issue, I guess.

Btw, really thanks for your support!

I found just setting Fog Curve and Fog Multiplayer to 1 fixed any issues with a hard line at the horizon. Everything else wasn't needed. As long as the all the fog settings are equal, then there was no problem. So set them as you like and then make them all the same and it's fine. Changing all that other stuff ruined what the ENB does in my opinion. I'm running Re-Engage Obsidian ENB, since CW is based off of Obsidian. Everything is fine with just the fog adjustments.

That's not really high enough to see if the end of the world is truly visible or not. You have to go higher!

Here's something else though, I like your suggestions better because it allows the weather mod to do what it does yet having the features of the enb which is nice.

Yeah, I noticed when the ENB is off, it's still slightly there. I wonder if it's any INI settings I have or nvidia control panel settings. Obviously it's not there on your screen shots. So it has to be something like that. I've turned a lot off to let the ENB or GPU do it instead of the game.
