    Hello,

So the only real problem of this mod, which unfortunately is also a HUGE one gameplay-wise, is that it lacks messages that notify you that your hands are free, aka, when you can use weapons, magic and powers again. As it stands, you are forced to periodically check if you are able to "move again" everytime you unload stuff, which is a HUGE immersion-breaking problem. In real life, you constantly *know* if you have too much stuff on your hands, it's not like you are forced to take a pause from dropping things every now and then to see if your hands are free.

So, PLEASE, could you fix this problem? A simple message like "You now feel comfortable with the objects you have" would be enough.
    Great, great mod otherwise.

LOL this was short-lived... Solved by myself. I just added
      Debug.Notification("You now feel more comfortable")
      under the line
      Game.EnablePlayerControls()
In the script "_HC_EffectScript" and I recompiled the script. Easy. Still, IronDusk33, if you want to update the mod yourself I'm sure there would be many people out there who would appreciate it :)

I've got this working with RAB Inventory so that you go above a first threshold and you can't raise your hands for combat, and above a second threshold you start dropping items. The only thing holding this back is the fact that potions aren't given more capacity when wearing a backpack but other than that I really enjoy the immersion this brings.

Hi, I like the mod idea, but, I emptied my entire inventory and it still says I have 5559 coins.

"Followers are detected using the CurrentFollowerFaction. So, followers who use their own systems can still be exploited"\

is there a way to remove the exploit? or just disable them , vanilla included?

There's a weird tendency for IronDusk33 mods to be on the verge of greatness but held back by severely simple bugs. I would try them all otherwise.

This mod is probably the best capacity related overhaul mod.
But, really unfortunately, this mod is not compatible with LotD...
This mod can't recognize the backpack added in LotD as a backpack!
    Very disappointing!
I tried to fix it somehow, but I couldn't figure out what kind of fix would accomplish my goal.
If possible, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix it!

Late reply, but I couldn't resist.
Literally at the bottom of the description.
      ?Compatibility
Followers are detected using the CurrentFollowerFaction. So, followers who use their own systems can still be exploited.

I mentioned supported backpacks. Currently, backpacks from Wet and Cold, and Campfire are recognized and will double your capacity of items and coins. You can add support for other backpacks yourself by adding them to the _HC_ListBackpacks FormList through a patch made with TES5edit.

Also, coins added by the Coin Replacer Redux are recognized as coins

This is getting really close to realistic carry weight but the MCM menu determining the amount of items you can hold just puts it shy of that.

It should have a separate value to carry weight called "volume". So every item would have both a volume and weight value. The volume limit cannot be exceeded no matter what(or it just makes it so you cant ready your weapons) and it is determined by the equipment you are wearing. It will also prevent you from picking up any items that cause it to be exceeded. Weight will just be the carry weight value but when exceeded will make you slow like vanilla.

You would have to remove or change carry weight enchantments either changing them into "pocket dimension" enchantments that give you extra volume or "strength" enchantments that just give your character an increased weight limit.

Skyrims carry weight system cannot be made realistic without doing more than just having a script do all the work. You will eventually have to put values onto individual items to make it more realistic.

This would at least require a zedit patcher to implement. Even going through just the vanilla game and manually adding a volume to every item is a monumental task. But the core idea is certainly possible if you have the means and talent to manifest it. An alternative to either of these options is to simply limit yourself through your own imagination, and it requires zero coding :)

Yeah but thats too easy. I rather have my imagination manifested so that I dont have to arbitrarily limit myself.

First of all, I must say that this became MUST HAVE mod on my own mod list. It brings so much realism to the game, indeed. But I have one question: I understand that using a backpack, the capacity of these items is doubled. But what happens if I'm using an armor with enchant such as " Increases carrying capacity for 40 points" ? I mean, you certainly gain +40 carry weight points, but does it change something or not? Will I be able to carry a few more smaller items or not?

I believe it doesn't increase the size of your pockets or backpack, only your "carrying capacity" so basically your strenght. With some heavy items in your inventory you may end up hitting your carrying capacity's limit (the one that goes up with stamina in the base game) while still not reaching your "handling" capacity, the limit that comes with this mod.
An enchantment that increase carry weight points will just (probably) increase the weight you can carry, the base carry capacity.

To make these "+X Carrying Capacity" buffs more meaningful you could use this mod together with a mod that reduces the base carry weight by a lot (maybe reduces it to 100 or so? Just a guess...). That way you have to take care of your carry WEIGHT and the AMOUNT of items you carry, which would be quite realistic.
