About this mod

* I get nothing for this mod. Since nobody needs to download my Skyrim.ini file = no endorsements. I'm just putting this info up because it seems like there are a lot of Skyrim Fans who want Mortal Followers....and there is a lack of Mods that provide this service. So this is my gift to the community! :)
It's strange how so many modders have tried creating mods to make NPCs mortal....and have mostly failed (or had to implement clunky script mechanics). It took me years to figure out how to make NPCs mortal! It's like Bethesda made this information top secret!
Simply open your Skyrim.ini file (located in your 'Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition' folder). Add the following lines
[GamePlay]
bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0
This will make ALL NPCs mortal....they'll fight till they die. IF they happen take that 95% damage that makes them kneel = the enemies will happily smash their skulls in without hesitation!
Be warned! ALL NPCs are now very vulnerable to dying! Don't cry if Ulfric or Ralof get killed in battle and your main quest is messed up! Also, brawls will also end up fatal!
If you have issues completing quests/brawls due to this = simply open your Skyrim.ini folder and change 'bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0' to 'bEssentialTakeNoDamage=1'. When you are done with the quest/brawl, return that '1' to a '0'.
Bonus!
*Another little addition you can do to the Skyrim.ini file = put under [Combat] this command 'bForceNPCsUseAmmo=1'. This makes NPCs with missile weapons (bow and crossbow) have limited ammunition (they use up that ammo carried in their inventory)!
