MCM might have issues registering my mod for some users, I have it fixed in the next version that I will release later.

Follow the instructions below if you are using FNIS to prevent the "abomination" in vampire lord form: Step 1: Backup the following two files from the mod folder of this mod before running FNIS: meshes\actors\vampirelord\behaviors\vampirelord.hkx meshes\actors\vampirelord\characters\vampirelord.hkx Step 2: Run FNIS and have it update behaviors, then copy the two files back into the mods folder. Alternatively If you are using mod organizer then you can copy the files into the overwrite folder instead after running FNIS.
For anyone using High Poly Head mod and your face reverts back to the non high poly face parts when transformed, you gotta open the HNV***.esp, where *** is the race you're using, in creation kit. Load up the plugin and search for dlc1vampirebeastrace, at the top select your gender, go to face data tab and make sure Overlay head part list and Override head part list are unchecked. Save the plugin.
I have run into an annoying issue where my armor keeps getting deleted both the saved set and what i was wearing in my base form this seems to be an issue between sacrosanct and this mod which ive never encountered until recently, its super super annoying cause this is almost the exact same problem i had with werewolf in just the vanilla game where you'd end up naked [in this case my clothes are completely removed from inventory]
Using Animated Wings Ultimate and the wings are not saved. When I transform, character becomes buck nekkid (well, loincloth) for about 2 seconds mid-transform, too.
Oh, and PSA: I highly recommend everyone installs this fire-and-forget mod. MCM Menu Kicker

Edit: wings are half-working. They do not appear when i become a Vampire Lord. However if i manually pop them, once i Revert Form, they do automatically fold away.
UPDATE FOR ANYONE ELSE: if using Ultimate, use the legacy crafted version. Too complex to hack Ultimate's scripts to basically work backwards of what it usually does - crafted wings will just be more clothing and work like rest of outfit. However i will wait for author to return because of the broken attack animations :(

I wonder if folks with issues are using mod-added clothing parts or nonstandard clothing slots indexes, or some similar skuilduggery? I was even using Volkihar Knight mod-added Vampire armor in my outfit and it always worked, no delete, no dup.
The pinned reply explains very clearly, even with ssedit. You should load HNVNord.esp in ssedit and find Race/VampireBeastRace in the subtree. Then set the value of Overlay head part list to 0.

after doing this when i transform into vampire lord my character gets normal eyes (non glowing, human eyes) instead of vampire eyes that it has in default non lord vampire race, and then when i switch back i get my glowing eyes back, does anybody know that could cause this issue?
When I save armour, either with the hotkey or the spell, changing into vampire lord form while still wearing that set of equipment will still default to the standard vampire lord armour. If I store the armour I set in a chest or drop it it will also use the default.
However if I save armour, then unequip any pieces, vampire lord form will use the saved set, but only the pieces that were unequipped (so for example, if I save a set of iron armour, then take off the boots, the vampire lord will be wearing only the boots). On top of this, when reverting back to human form, the pieces it did use (the boots for example) will be deleted from my inventory, and the next time I transform it will revert back to default vampire lord armour, even if I do not use the set armour button again.
It seems like where the mod should be storing a copy of the armour and then taking the stored set when transforming, it is instead taking the armour for the transform from my inventory instead.
Looking through my mod list, the only things that might have any interaction with this mod are things like Sacrosanct, Immersive Armours, and body mods which are all stated to be compatible with this one. I've tried running with this mod at both the bottom and the top of my load order with the same results each time.
Hello, I have a question, if somebody can help my. I have problem where when i install this mod, i have Vampire Lord with tall neck (the actor use vampirelord skeleton) when i install some of the patches here, i have problem, that the character transform to the "abomination" (upside dowhn glithching with head underground) IDK what im doing wrong. I think im using some mod which altering the vampirelord form but idk what one. None of the mods which im using don't using name Vampire Lord or Lord or vampire... atleast not for the vampirelord form... im using few mods which alter the XP32 maximum skeleton, but this mod win the spot in the load order to be the one which is the latest, so it should be everithing right set up... still im not able to run this mod without these issues.... If somebody from you have a tip, I will be glad for help. Thanks
ok i know where was my problem... For some reason Vortex doesn't follow strictly the dependencies rule... IDK why but for some of mods (including this one) doesn't follow the rule set by my. so this mod doesn't win the battle for lower place in load order and differend mod which had vampirelord skeleton as well win this battle... So... for my, solution was simple... reinstall the second mod and from that moment rule which i set, kick in and now i had the meat ball abomination for all the time. which is good, this is the wishes solution which means - it works like for other people. solid peace of evidence, that this is move to right direction... From this point i was able to conduct the "Fix for Humanoid vampire lord" solution, Install the mod AFTER i run fnis/nemesis/pandora (whatever mod you use to register animations to the game). But i must install the mod by hand. not via Vortex cuz "this problem" and from now on, my wampirelord is as i want to be - humanoid chick in demon armor from Melodic - R2 Akenisia with demon wings.

From this point i was able to conduct the "Fix for Humanoid vampire lord" solution, Install the mod AFTER i run fnis/nemesis/pandora (whatever mod you use to register animations to the game). But i must install the mod by hand. not via Vortex cuz "this problem" and from now on, my wampirelord is as i want to be - humanoid chick in demon armor from Melodic - R2 Akenisia with demon wings.
