Personally, I'd use it because I've already done most of the puzzles in Skyrim anyway, and taking the time to solve them for the 10th time feels more like a choir than anything engaging. Kinda ruins the mood after slaying a room full of deadly horrors then spending a minute checking your inventory for a claw combination, even if it only takes you out for 10 seconds.
i dont find it too bothering though, the only puzzle i find kind of annoying is the one when i have to get the dawnbreaker, which isnt much of a puzzle to be honest
Of course people CAN solve them, they are pretty damn easy, but they are also annoying and i'd rather not deal with them. If you consider this cheating, go to mod categories, cheating and God items, and post your exact comment there on every one of the 14 pages of mods. Plus, if I looked at your mod list you probably have at least one or two or more mods that some may consider cheating.
It's only considered cheating if you've never done the puzzles before or only a few times. But for many of us, we've encountered these puzzles tens if not hundreds of times already of which the puzzles become more annoying than challenging. This mod would actually be considered a QoL (quality of life) change, not a cheat.
EDIT: Besides, a) no one is forcing anyone to use this mod, and b) it's a mod for a single-player game so frankly, who cares?
these wannabe puzzles are ridiculously boring. you look the dragon claw for the symbols, turn the spin thing so the symbols match the dragon claw, done. i'd rather bypass the process to finish things faster.
Hey my dude, not sure if you're planning to go further into updates on this, but this is just something I've noticed the more I've used this mod. It's absolutely fantastic, but there's a number of puzzles that still require manual work. Based on the list here ( https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Puzzles ) there are a lot of unregistered puzzles. The Glowing Stones in Ustengrav and the Kinetic Resonators in Arkngthamz and Fahlbtharz can be discounted due to their unique nature.
Animal Pillars: -Ansilvund 2nd Zone (Solution: Eagle, Snake, Whale, Snake) -Geirmund's Hall (Solution: Eagle, Whale, Snake, Whale) -High Gate Ruins (Solution: Eagle, Whale, Fox, Snake) -Saarthal Puzzle 1 (Solution: North Wall from west to east= Eagle, Snake, Whale; South Wall from west to east: Whale, Eagle, Eagle) -Saarthal Puzzle 2 (Solution: SE Pillar=Whale, NE Pillar=Snake, SW Pillar=Eagle, NW Pillar=Whale)
Chain Pulling Puzzles: -Hillgrund's Tomb (Solution: Chain behind bear head on wall) -Volskygge (Solution: Snake, Bear, Fox, Wolf)
ETC Puzzles: -Kolbjorn Barrow 3rd Excavation (Timed time puzzle, might be too difficult to work out) -Dimhollow Cavern Braziers (Also a bit tricky)
Other than these ones from the original game, there's a plethora of ones from mods, but just the SSE puzzles alone are exhausting to do. If it's possible to add these to your mod, that'd be fantastic. Otherwise, if possible, I'd like to try my novice modding hand at it. I have literally zero knowledge on how to script mods, though... -

Can you add the Stone Pillar Puzzle, west of Whiterun?
