Please post compatibility questions and information on the Compatibility page.

We will try to periodically update the main post on that page with information regarding specific mods and links to available patches, and it will help us significantly if this information is already available in posts under that topic and we don't have to search through the longer main thread.

We are aware of the issue with the experience bar not immediately updating upon crafting an item, which is a consequence of the way CCOR calculates experience via script. Version 2.4 adds an MCM option to "Update XP Bar Immediately" which forces the Smithing XP bar to update immediately after crafting an item, but this may not function properly with some mods, or if you have high script latency. Disable this option if you experience issues (such as CTDs). Gamepads are not currently supported; unfortunately gamepad users may need to move the cursor or click on another item in order for the experience bar to update. We do hope to be able to extend this fix to gamepad users in the future.

Please note that CCOR uses the furniture nodes in the forge, smelter, and tanning rack crafting station meshes to detect when an item is crafted. Consequently mods which remove the furniture nodes from these meshes, such as No Crafting Animations, will break much of CCOR's functionality.

I have a pretty lengthy post but I will try and go into as much detail as I possibly can about the issue. I am aware as mentioned that there is a history of exp problems with this mod.

I have an issue where with leveling when it comes to smithing, I am convinced anything that weapons, armor, and clutter fixes altered when it comes to perks in skill trees is preventing me from leveling past level 57 specifically. I am using the experience mod that gives exp for killing enemies and go to bed however I did get the patch for USSEP and GTB from the compatibility page. Although I want to mention that on the compatibility page that the USSEP patch mentioned on both tags lead to the German version of the URL and that has me concerned about the patch for Go-To-Bed. Does the patch only cover the German version of USSEP? Some reassurance on this would be amazingly helpful.

I have tried to use the method of clicking on another item does nothing. The experience bar in the perk tree is a goldish looking color and wont progress at all. Unless console command is used. I am using leveler's tower and in that player home mod there is an area where you can automatically level your blacksmithing by pressing a button to max it out. However, this feature also seems to be impacted by CCOR and isn't a work around for the problem. Ideally console commands are not an ideal work around but they seem to be the only method that works to increase the skill or anything that may have been touched by WAACF. I do wonder if this is because of the experience mod being used to change the way a player levels.

One thing I have not tried is leveling the player character while the skill tree perk is maxed out and seeing if anything changes after spending a point in health, stamina and magic. This just came to mind as I was typing this comment.
I have tried to make a merge patch in xedit last night but xedit was not showing the experience mod when applying the filter for conflicts even though the experience mod was checked in the popup window when applying the filter to the mods. Could there also be an issue with anything that changes crafting materials that is not covered by ccor?  I am using ingots of magnificent pixels but that is simply a retexture and I am unsure if maybe that could be having an issue with CCOR, which is an option I may try by removing that mod or anything that changes mining that I may have over looked.

I also noticed that  "CCOR uses the furniture nodes in the forge, smelter, and tanning rack crafting station meshes to detect when an item is crafted."
I do have a mod that replaces the smithing stations to 3D textures. It is called Skyrim 3D Blacksmith. I am trying to overhaul skyrim's vanilla textures is there a possibility I will have to strip out anything that alters the meshes of any smithing tool? I am also using 3D lava and Ember's Fire XD.

    Thank you.

Is there a patch anywhere for this mod and Honed Metal? I have gone to a high level smith and asked to have a sword crafted that required Galatite, which he doesn't have. I can't smelt it at a smelter as my smithing skill isn't high enough, and raising it in order to make Galatite defeats the purpose of Honed Metal.

I'm not aware of any current patches, but you can give this patch a try and let me know how it goes (requires FLM).

Been using CACO/CCOR for as long as I've been modding Skyrim and never had an issue, until now!

I have found that Galatite Ingots are missing their texture in my current playthrough (and only Galatite Ingots, which is odd.) I've checked the bug reports and searched the comments here but can't seem to find anyone who has the same issues. I have screenshots and my LO if needed.

This is by no means a major issue, more a minor inconvenience but would welcome any advice!

They normally use vanilla textures, but some patches for them change that.

If you're using kryptopyr's Patch Hub, the Metallurgy - Ingots and Ore HD patch is just meshes which point to that mod's new textures, but if Metallurgy were removed from your load order, that would cause them to be missing textures. (Metallurgy v1.1 or earlier actually replaced the vanilla textures, so in the unlikely event that's what you're using, the patch isn't needed.)

If that's not the case, you'd want to figure out which mod/patch includes copies of the meshes below, and remove them.

      • meshes/ccor/crafting/IngotCalcinium.nif
      • meshes/ccor/crafting/IngotGalatite.nif

Could we possibly get a version that is not reliant on the Unofficial patch much like CACO?

Yes, but it will likely be a while before we can make that happen.

I know that this will probably never happen. But is there any chance at all of having the skills based requirement for silver and gold crafting as a standalone mod? That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's possible. I'll discuss it with kryptopyr and see what we can do.

Could we please get a infinite option for drops per vein please? Infinite Ore Veins isn't compatible with CCOR and there doesn't seem to be any patches. Love CCOR, but the lack of an option for infinite veins has been my number 1 issue with it for years.

Greetings , Started a  new game , with the setting loader disabled, Noticed  the Temper and Enchanting Menu sliders is showing zero . I recently switched for SE to AE so not sure how CCOR works on AE . On the previous version playing 1.5970 the sliders had preset values .  Are the zero sliders for Tempering and Enchanting A) a new thing y'all are doing  B ) A bug C) some other issue D) a sign I should go back to SE lol (yep JK) .  CCOR is an essential mod for me and keep up the great work .

Hi Topher! I believe if you enable the checkboxes at the top of each section, it should load the preset values. If that doesn't work, let me know and I can investigate further.

Hey Hey Doc! Good to hear from ya. Clicking the checks boxes fixed it . Yay

Another question: On my SE playthrough I could convert Fur plates to Leather at the tanning rack , is that a baseline CCOR ability or was that the result of a patch . I was using campfire at the time . Haven't installed Campfire yet on the AE yet .

I don't see any functionality for that in CCOR, so I expect it came from a patch (or possibly Campfire). It's something we could look at adding in the future, but I'd want to double-check the ratios on the various leather and fur plate recipes to make sure everything balances out and makes sense.

I thinking it came from a patch as well (or Campfire) since I m not seeing that ability with the current mods I'm using. I'll  keep an eye out for that when I add Campfire (in a a week or so at this point lol) Thanks for all you do :)

    I'm getting 2 bonus firewood whenever I MINE ORE.  Yep. Mine...3 times....get 1 ore and 2 firewood.

Also get the bonus firewood when chopping firewood, but that seems less strange.

That is a very bizarre issue; I've never heard of anyone getting firewood from mining. I'd recommend checking the mineorescript Patch Hub to see if there's a patch you need; it sounds like you most likely have multiple mods which edit that script.

That didn't work. I have the CCOR, Unofficial Patch and Go To Bed, but the patch didn't help.

Interesting though that the extract ore spell works just fine. No firewood appears and it even uses the CCOR settings for the number of ore per node. Not sure what's different about Extract Ore vs. using the standard mining animation.

If you load your mods in SSEEdit, is another overwriting the script properties on the ore activators being edited by CCOR? Sample screenshot in the spoiler below. If nothing is overwriting it, I suspect another mod is adding the firewood via another script when you harvest the ore (but I have no idea why).

      Hello,
I also had the same problem. I was able to trace the problem back to the “SIC CCOR patch.esp" from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/54930. In SSEDIT there is a conflict with the Silver Perk from the SIC-CCOR patch. See here.

To solve the problem I had to delete the Subject.GetGlobalValue in “SIC CCOR Patch.esp” and take over the one from "Complete Crafting Overhaul_Remasterd.esp", so that it looks like this.

In total there are 6 lines to patch. Ingame I had to reset or change the setting for the amount of mining in the CCOR MCM and the problem was solved. I couldn't explain how the problem was related to the “SilverPerk”. In any case, this solved the problem for me.

I hope I was able to help.

      Thanks for figuring that out!

I don't think lifestorock is currently active to update that patch, so in the meantime I'll probably include a patch for the patch on kryptopyr's Patch Hub.

So I don't know what happened, but suddenly the custom settings for mining have stopped working. All I get is a single ore per drop, when it was working fine for several hundred hours on this current playthrough. I've reinstalled and cleaned with Resaver, no dice. Started a new game, no good. I don't know what happened, but mining settings no longer works.

Found the issue. Go to sleep was conflicting. A patch later and back in business. Seriously, patches. They do things

Glad you found the patch you needed! The MineOreScript is particularly bad for conflicts as a lot of mods edit it, so for anyone else who runs into this issue, check out Patch Hub mineorescript.pex (also linked on the Compatibility page).

Hey there, I've looked forward to using this mod in my new load order, but I'm having an issue with it. For some reason items in the crafting menus all have the text "CompTag" followed by a number. Here's an example from the smelter:

The same thing is happening at the forge and the tanning rack. I tried reinstalling the mod and that didn't fix it. I have over 1000 mods in my load order, so I'm not sure if it's a compatibility issue or what.

I appreciate any and all help. Thanks for your time!
