Everything works fine except one thing: My dragon can't stay in the air. I press space to start flying and the animation plays out smoothly and the dragon gets off the ground, but after two seconds he just falls back to the ground (not landing animation or walking animation, it's the flying animation but he is on the ground). I "fly" on the ground and move around and do everything but I am not in the air. Also, I can keep pressing space to keep him in the air, but if I dont he just falls to the ground.
Great mod! Been loving it so far. I've noticed that some shouts actually play the dragon voice lines while some others don't Is there a way to make them work on all shouts?
Can you elaborate which shouts that don't? if you mean by Marked Death or Bend Will shout, Ice Form, Kyne's Peace or anything similar, i think it just can't.
Only Fire/Frost Breath, Drain Vitality and Durnehviir undead shout has dragon voice line, other PC shouts contain none.
Improved Camera SE update: so I started a new game because I was testing out making dragon mounds as beds and seeing if while in dragon form I could sleep in the bed (survival mode stuff; yes it did work). I have Improved Camera SE still loaded up. I went into first person while in dragon form by accident and did not experience any crashing. Later I transformed into a dragon whilst in first person and did not experience any crashing. Camera placement was a little wonky and flying was extremely slow, but it did not crash the game. So with a new game, players can use this mod with Improved Camera SE and not have to worry about crashing. There is also some added controls to Improved Camera SE's UI that players can adjust the camera specifically for dragon mode. A few months ago I asked the mod author of Improved Camera SE if they would implement the dragon race into their mod to enable compatibility with this mod. It looks like they came through for us. Dragon control in first person is still a little wonky, but at least the crashing problem as been fixed.
the description changlog dropdown mentions in 1.5 there was a patch added for the Dragonborn DLC MQ, where would I find that? I'm having an issue with the animation preventing me from mounting that dragon in Apocrypha..
After I loaded this mod, the option for this mod did not appear in the menu of the MCM. Other mods are displayed normally on my MCM. Other than that, everything is great, but this means that I can't switch dragons. anyone in the same situation or willing to help me?
It works for me, try to download the latest version of "Play as Dragon" and make sure that you meet all the requirements that are given! If that doesn't help, I would guess a mod conflict I hope it help you
This happened to me too. You have to start a new game for the MCM option to appear.
Edit: forget what I said. I just loaded another old save game I have and for some reason the MCM option for this mod appeared for me, but in the the other save where I wanted to use this mod the option doesn't show. I think it's random whether this works or not for existing saves...
I'm so excited to announce that this mod is COMPATIBLE with Improved Camera SE!!! However, users must be in 3rd person before initiating Dragon Form. If you are in 1st person and initiate Dragon Form, the game will crash to desktop. If users continue to have CTDs, then I recommend downloading Improved Camera SE - INI Tweaks and follow the direction Vicarun posted in the comment section on that mod.
Edit: players must stay in 3rd person. If you return to first person, the game will CTD.
Hey, I am playing this on Linux. Is it possible that FlyMod DLL refuses to work solely because of this? I have noticed that some DLLs (but not all) refuse to work simply because I am not on Windows.
Just to clarify, I am on AE and made sure I have the AE dll installed, but during startup it complains about a fatal error.
