for some reason my water foam nearly glows in the dark in whiterun.. kind of around the same place as the image where it flows downstream and nowhere else. Is this an ENB thing and is it fixable? (using SkyVRann)
Natural Waterfalls has an option made for my foam textures. It's called "Toostruus Choice" make sure to grab that in the FOMOD. And yes my files need to overwrite/load after
That is most certainly something I did not know about. Also grabbed enhanced Rocks and Mountains while I was at it. Appreciate it Rally. Especially with Solstheim.
This is a great mod! Thank you for this. However, I have found what I believe to be a bug. In Helgen Keep the rapids that flow through it will do this weird loop glitch. I haven't seen this bug appear anywhere else, but I'll let you know if I do.
The bug only stared once I activated this mod. Water for ENB by itself didn't present this issue. I suppose it could be a conflict between the two though.
maybe the issue becomes more visible with my water foam. but it can´t cause it if it´s an animation problem. i´m afraid i don´t know how to give any other advice, since i'm using a different water mod in conjunction.
Seems you are answering some of my prayers Rally :) ...I really wanted better tiled roof's, you gave them to me :) ...I really wanted better water foam and here you are again giving them to me, I really appreciate what you have done rally, thank you :) ...I'm off to check out the rest of your Mods now :)
This is a lovely mod, "if" you dont use ENB. Sadly this mod does not work with ENB (no pre-sets) Just standard ENB installer already does not show this mod at all.
it is a simple texture replacer and it works flawlessly with ENB as confirmed by many users throughout LE, SE and VR. You should check your load order or other mods in your list that might overwrite my files.
Which version do people recommend for someone already hovering around 5.4GB used out of 6GB on a GTX 1660? I'm thinking 2k, but not sure if 4k would have barely a difference.
Mind you, I've never hit the 6GB cap, but I want to try to keep at least .5GB to .4GB leeway, to avoid major stuttering or memory loading. This mod visually just seems too good to pass up, though.
Would I even visually notice a big difference between 2k and 4k on a 1440p monitor?
I would like to know as well although in my case its deciding between the 2K and 1K versions to use on a less powerful system. How big of area do water textures (in general and this foam texture) apply to. With mountain textures I understand they apply to a bigger area then normal so I go with larger textures that I do with anything else (my only 8K textures). But I'm not sure if that's the case here.
Each of us could just install and check though, as you can replace textures during an ongoing game.
I would just use 1k or 2k then, its a fast moving opaque texture you wont notice the pixel density like that. As for 8k @1440p I cant see the difference waste of Vram and with TAA as you move artifacting can be more of a problem as it keeps up with the frames.
This looks like a great mod! Can I ask (stupidly) if it's just textures, will it take up a slot in my load order? Thanks for doing this amazing work, you rock!!
hey thanks :) yup this is just textures, no plugin. if you want to know what files are included in a mod, click on "Preview file contents" right below the Download Button of a mod. this will bring up a window with all files listed.

What do you us to measure your VRAM usage?
