1) Be careful. Avoid directly promoting NPCs associated with quests, because some quests tend to delete those NPCs and will make them disappear from the game after some time. Instead of directly promoting said NPCs, you should clone them using one of the four different cloning methods:
Creating a "Clone" via the Create Undead ritual.
Casting the "Soul Snare" spell on the NPC while they were alive.
Studying the NPC after dissecting them and then creating a "Worm Thrall" via the Create Undead ritual.
Reanimating the NPC, performing the "Soul Bind" ritual and then creating a "Spectral Thrall" via the Create Undead ritual.
Cloned NPCs will not respawn or reset over time as well, so if you plan to use your reanimated thralls ...
