But with 69 years of age I'm afraid that I'm not able to provide those contributions any more that some of you might expect. Thank you so much to those many modders and users I have worked together with during this time in order to stem exciting challenges. And my apologies to those I might have overreacted to in times of frustration.
All my mods, and in particular FNIS, FNIS SE, and FNIS Sources, are passed over to "The Care Taker", and are fully owned now by "Nexus Mods". And I will not be active any more in any of the Nexus threads, including those I have hosted for years.
Although the timing might imply, this decision was made weeks ago, and has nothing to do with the disastrous situation the whole world is facing now. But it is a clean cut for the coming days, months, and maybe years where I want to take care only for my family and myself.

Had to redownload FNIS after a couple years of not changing my modlist in order to get some animations to work. Opening FNIS on MO2, I see that it now has an error called "Error 2001 - Application-defined or object-defined error", and won't list any patches in the patch box below, essentially making it so that I am unable to run FNIS properly. Has anyone else experienced this particular error or know how to fix this error? I can't play the game without running FNIS first otherwise everyone is T-posing.
FNIS is used to brush creature animations, while Nemesis is used to brush character animations. They cannot exist at the same time, that is, they are incompatible. There is a way to make them compatible, but it is too troublesome. It is recommended to use Pandora directly.ヾ(≧へ≦)〃
You're wrong. First you patch animations with fnis, then you patch animations with nemesis and you have to make sure Nemesis Output files overwrite FNIS files.
Other than that, you're right; Pandora is gold and saves ton of time and issues.
I think I messed up something with FNIS, I installed with the required mods that lists and the flower girls mods. After I follow the instructions of the videos I try to run a game test, and when I enter I am in front of the wagon, and all NPC's have dissapeared. Then I try to load a run just before the beheading, and in that moment all NPC's were t posing and no movement. Any help pls?
For some reason the mod page has manual, NMM and MO/Vortex installation guides. But the uninstall guides has only manual and NMM. I'm a bit confused, because I did it with Vortex, so is it okay if I simply turn it off and uninstall? No creature mods thing, only FNIS independent animations
I have never really understood what FNIS does. It only ever causes problems - best case scenario, it makes me work a little and doesn't do anything. I have to run the utility it has, check a bunch of boxes, but its never clear which ones I am supposed to check. Then it runs and spits out a bunch of cryptic junk language i don't understand, and then i run my game. What did I do? No idea.
Why do we need these? They are required for a bunch of mods that actually do stuff, but i don't see why.
The entire reason I've stuck with the standard CBBE body so far rather than using any body replacers with physics is that things get so much more complicated than any other modding to get those physics bodies working specifically. The required XPMSSE skeleton isn't a big deal, but that requires these mysterious... animation replacers? like FNIS or Pandora and aside from not clearly understanding what they even do, they all seem to be significantly more complicated to actually use than anything else. Simply installing them is extra complicated. Really makes me want to just take my chances with the minimal version of XPMSSE. It's not like I even wanted extra sex animations and such in the first place, I just wanted the CBBE 3BBB Body model. But it requires the skeleton (which I do 100% totally understand, more animation detail needs more bones to control it,) and that needs whatever this or Pandora are.
A guide to the full chain of EVERYTHING required to get physics bodies working for dummies would be really appreciated right now.
I am just restarting with a new Skyrim install and MO2 install. I properly installed SKSE. I have USSEP, Obsidian, EVLaS, Moon and Stars, Rudy ENB, Ethereal Elven, CBBE, SkyUI, Alternate Start, Pick Up Books Simple. All latest versions. Everything worked fine. Goit int he game and tested everything.
Then I installed FNIS behavior/creature/sp[ells, and ran the generate fnis tool, and selected just the top two boxes. Now when i run the game I get an error that says SKSE is not working so SkyUI wont work.
I uninstalled FNIS and deleted everything related to it.
Same error still happening.
EDIT: I uninstalled skyrim and MO2 and reinstalled everything except FNIS.
I would like to use FNIS, I guess, since its required for a bunch of stuff. What can I do to make it not ruin my game?

My character is doing an idle walk animation when not moving, basically moonwalking in place slowly. I have tried absolutely every thing to no avail? I am sure its a FNIS problem. Does anyone know a fix?
STOP USING FNIS. HE IS GONE. FNIS WAS GREAT BUT DEV LET IT GET TO HIS HEAD UPSET PEOPLE AND THEY MADE BETTER TOOLS. THIS IS REPLACED BY OTHER TOOLS. Nemisis and Pandora to name a couple.
@dem6nd YOU CAN STILL USE THIS THOUGH. I JUST DID. I HAVE ALL 3 PANDORA, NEMESIS, AND FNIS XXL. I KNOW IT'S OVERKILL BUT THEY JUST WORK. USE YOUR FAVORITE. YES, NEMESIS IS NEWER AND PANDORA IS BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE BUT THIS GREAT MOD THAT STARTED IT ALL, IS STILL OPERATIONAL. I couldn't get my caps as big as the rest of you🤭

the frist immportant if you frist play use pandora just use it for forever dontt change if you just tick all bcs if you change pandora/fnis/nemesis you will get t pose so just chose one or you know how to use 3 engine behvior not get t pose
the simpile fix T pose Go to your Game Folder , And search your skyrim folder and mods folder for " 0_master.hkx" , and delete that mf. then you char not T pose again.
if you get eror after instal fnis/nemesis/pandora just dont forget go to file exe and select property and run compability with windows 8 or 7 and run again you wil no get eror again
