This mod worked fairly well, even with Sacrosanct. Besides a minor issue everything went smoothly and the quest progressed as it should.
As reported by others, the werewolf corpse did not have the claw that is required for the quest. Here's how I fixed this issue:
* Use the following command to find the item ID for the claw: help "Roeth" * Use the following command to add the claw to your inventory: player.additem <put ID here> 1
Absolutely did not work for me. Seemed to have the same problems noted in the original. Skjor, after inviting you to enter the underforge, never enters himself. The suggested console command did not work. Pretty much just stops there.
Hello Sfouts I don't use werewolf mods anymore, n just find the whole werewolf side of thing boring , but anyways , when I used this, I notice a lot of ppl had similar issues, so what I found worked for me ... I would have this mod downloaded ready, then when I meet skjor at the forge, waited for him to go in , make a save, come out install the mod activate it , then come back and enter the forge , and it worked ok for me , doing it that way .. Maybe give that a go that way ?
This is how it went for me. Firstly, note that my game is still 1.63(?) as I live in fear of broken mods breaking my game mid story. Only activated mod after Skjor entered the underforge, manual save, shut down game then started up and activated the mod in my load order. Exited by the same door I went in, body was where it was supposed to be. Exited via the tunnel, no werewolf corpse. The claw wasn't there. I used command codes to place the claw in the werewolf's inventory. That worked fine. I got the notification when I picked it up and took it to Aela. The rest went smoothly. Remember to go to the werewolf corpse at the far wall because I think that is Skjor's body. Aela will start talking. However! Don't just leave when Aela tells you to go back! I almost did this. Talk to her again, and she gives you the first follow-up quest. Do that and then return to the Companions. Report to her and things continue from there with the "Stealing Plans" quest.
I should have made a save before the Underforge like the description said. Skjor never entered the Underforge but I got the "skip becoming a werewolf" dialogue from him standing at the entrance anyway. Went to get the claw, got the claw, joined up with Aela, continued the quest from there. The problem came after. After completing The Silver Hand, Aela just stands at the entrance of Jorrvasker telling me she's running interference over and over without letting me actually do more jobs. In fact, none of the companion leaders are offering jobs.
I remember before I spoke to Skjor that I entered the Underforge expecting him to show up then exited out through the back way to try and get him to load in. Instead, the game gave me the misc. objective "Talk to the Companion leaders for work". I reloaded that save because Skjor didn't follow me into the Underforge. But looking back now I truly wish I just exited the Underforge out the back to get the prompt for more work then went back to Skjor to progress the quest without becoming a werewolf. Now, instead, I'm stuck with no quests and no opportunity to do more quests.
If you are reading this and are thinking of installing this mod, make sure you exit the Underforge through the back to get the prompt for more companion quests before you talk to Skjor!
use sqt to see if the quest isn't considered finished and then use setstage to complete it (keep in my you have to setstage each quest stage, don't skip any or you will break something)
Alternatively if this doesn't work, use stage to start the next quest in the Companion's questline
Probably an incompatibility with some mod I have, based on how unstable this mod seems to be (historically, not this one specifically), but the mod just crashes my game upon loading a save. I followed the method from jaderiver on the sticky: saving outside the Underforge after Skjor enters, installing and activating the mod, then loading said save. Shame, but at least lycanthropy isn't permanent, just annoying to have to go through all that stuff when it doesn't fit the character you're playing. Example, I'm doing a Warhammer Fantasy Dawi playthrough currently, why I wanted this mod to avoid this part but still progress.
EDIT: Scratch that. I decided to launch up my game again, but I had forgotten to turn off the mod on accident. I expected it to crash again, but for some reason it... launched up. Was able to talk to Skjor in the Underforge and get the dialogue to not become a Werewolf. Will report any more problems if they appear, alongside if I can find workarounds.
Endorsed. Installed mid-game, before starting "the Silver Hand", worked smoothly, didn't encounter a single bug. There is some unvoiced dialog, some minor incompatibilities with SDA (some dialogue referencing the werewolf transformation) and some dialog options with Aela that reference you becoming a werewolf. It is also compatible with "At your own pace". I'm aware that AYOP already has an option to go on while refusing the blood, however it hadn't been working me. Would recommend 9/10.
Eww having trouble as well. Skjor is not entering the underforge. Found a save before Silver Hand started, used Resaver to purge this plugin, cleaned all scripts, saved as a new file, loaded it and entered the game and went through the whole thing again, same problem. Skjor won't enter the forge and when I entered Aela is in human form. Please help. I've tried this mod before and it was working. Is it because I loaded this mod from the start this time? Instead of loading it when I'm already inside the forge with others?
I have a problem where I find the claw on Roeth and when I pick it up nothing happens(quest does not progress - no objective update to speak with Aela or meet up with her) and I can't drop it because it's a quest item. I'm stuck. Can someone help me without console commands?
While the original mod broke things for me, this one works perfectly. I am using "Sacrilege", which is a toned-down version of Sacrosanct. So far, my character is in the Inner Circle as a Vampire, although I've not gone to Harkon yet.
EDIT (4/3/22) Well shoot - on a new game, Skjor won't enter the underground, and like the other person, using the console command didn't do anything. Oh well. Guess I have to be a werewolf temporarily.
Skyrim special edition seems to have a bug that I never encountered in the 32bit version. The bug seems to affect this mod among others. If the player reloads a save after already playing on a different file (by dying or reloading from a failed pickpocket) then many NPCs will not enable correctly or otherwise not be in the location they are supposed to be. This seems to affect any NPC that wasn't part of the base came before the DLCs (such as Isran or HF housecarls). This especially affects NPCs added by mods. The lower in the load order the worse it gets.
This bug can be avoided by never reloading. If you need to reload or if you die then you have to quit Skyrim all the way to the desktop, wait five seconds, then launch Skyrim SE again from the very beginning and then load the save you want. Doing this I was able to get this mod and other to function correctly.

Hell, I even managed to get the "Blood Oath" achievement on Steam with the Achievement Enabler and this mod. Great job!
