For some reason the 2.0.12 package here included the loader from 2.0.11. This didn't break anything with the mod, but tools that examine the version resource to see what version is installed had problems. Uploaded a new package to fix that, nothing else changed.
It always says that my Skyrim Script Extender isn't up to date. I have 2.0.12 and followed the video instructions too. I'm using Vortex too.
The message reads:
SKYUI ERROR CODE 1
They Skyrim Script Extender (SKSEVR) is not running. SkyUI will not work correctly! SKSEVR has been updated, then installl the new version. For more help, visit the SkyUI download site.
I found that when I entered the game with SKSEVR, I could not open the keyboard when I arrived at the name of creating the character, and the whole part of creating the character would be stuck there and could not continue. How can I fix this problem?
how do i get vortex to start with skse loader? it works if i run skse loader but wont work if i use the game banner in vortex, im afraid of loading it through skse loader and not haveing all the mods in vortex run aswell?
So if i run the game off sksevr_loader.exe the game launches and skyui vr gives me the error that SKSEVR is not running press any button and no button actually does anything. I have reason to believe this launch method is not actually launching SKSEVR. So If I rename sksevr_loader.exe to skyrimVR.exe or launch from my mod manager (two surefire ways that a script extender launches) the game doesn't even open the window it'll say stop for a few seconds as it begins to load and then go play to play (basically crashing before the game even opens a window). Any idea on what the issue could be or how to fix this problem with SKSEVR? I've tried both the silverlock and Nexus versions of the mod and verified files already.
Can't get Vortex to register that I have skseVR as well. SkyUI and Racemenu are complaining that it doesn't exist, but it's there and installed correctly. I can't seem to figure out the issue as it wasn't one originally until I updated SkyUI and SkseVR (on 8/13/24).
I don't know if my mod work but it start up when I changed the name from "Skyrim Script Extender for VR (SKSEVR)" to "Skyrim Script Extender VR (SKSEVR)" and then checked the update and refreshed the content and started the game, it work smoothly but I don't know if it work, because I'm still new to this mod which I don't really know what the changes.
I see people recommending having the following in your skse.ini to fix memory and other issues. I don't have such a file. Is the following useful in the VR version and should it be named skse.ini or sksevr.ini?
everything i've read indicates the SKSE.ini is supposed to be inside Skyrim/Data/SKSE folder. the name is the same for ALL versions be it VR, SE or AE. if not there, create it manually, it just a text file.
It just keeps telling me that i have renamed it every time i try to run it when i havent? and then it tells me to rename the executable back which does nothing?
