Hi there, looks like a really cool mod! I have one question tho, when I click the link for Majestic Mountains - Cathedral Concept, it takes you to the regular Majestic Mountains page. I didn't see any specific download/file for a "cathedral concept", and I haven't found it spef. on the Nexus. I'm a noob so I'm probably missing something simple but any advice would be appreciated cuz this is my #1 house pick atm!
Hello. I just installed the mod and it appears that the original mod's statics have not disappeared and are still fully visible. I've not yet checked out the house itself, but the static boxes and barrels on the way to the house are all clipped into each other. I do not want to explore the mod further for fear of spoiling it for myself. I want the best effect the first time I see it. I will do some searching for a fix on my own, but it is unlikely I will find a fix.
I figured out what I was doing wrong. I thought that this mod needed the original, like most other overhauls. It does not. This would be very useful(would've been, to me at least) to have mentioned in the mod's description.
I made a mod like this myself for my own purposes .... So here are a few suggestions base on my mod.
1) The bridge doesn't make sense as any brigand worth his salt could cross that, and with AERs Blink teleport so can the player. I always make a teleport from the College of Winterhold Archmage's quarters.
2) There is a billion ton piece of rock floating ..... I make an interior with a mini Eye of Magnus and some magic effects to make it slightly more plausible.
3) Put an occlusion plane horizontal inside the island but not close to the edges ... may help with FPS on the ground looking up
Is this Navmeshed better than the original..... I assume thats why you needed Majestic Mountains
1) As description says : The drawbridge is raised by default, you will only be able to access the house by buying it 30000 septims. You will then receive an exclusive spell which allows you to raise or lower the bridge. So...no one can acceed the house if you simply use this spell...
2) Sorry i don't understand what you mean... :/
3) Good idea, will think about it, but...most of FPS issues are due to the fact that i added lots of small objects + that the house is integrated into the worldspace. If the house is in your back, no FPS drops, but when you turn toward the house FPS falls down (for the reasons i mentionned)
About Navmeshing, i kept the essential part of original navmheshes, but i've readjusted 'em with the new elements that i added.
about 3, that's exactly what sirandar is talking about. you have a ton of statics which are technically visible from a huge area of the main worldspace. because it's not in an interior cell, you need some other way to stop loading all those tiny statics from hundreds of meters away. so, a good way of going about that is by occluding everything above the rock surface. that's where all the static objects are. your particular situation isn't a special case where that doesn't apply, really this mod is one of very few mods that really needs a pre-built occlusion plane
Your creation is astonishing but is there any chance for a lite version? The FPS drop is quite intense for a less powerful PC that my poor dragonborn is killed by a wolf during the lag when he was just looking to the direction of Everfall from below
Hey, Thank you for the kind words, but...unfortunately can't reduce it. This is due to the fact that the house is integrated in the worldspace (no loading) and because i added lots of small objects. I also experience fps drops, this is mentionned in the description. Even with the original mod + a heavy mod list, fps falls down This really depends of your set up .
I'm a sucker for beautiful houses that still require you to purchase them, so this one was an easy download for me. The initial walk-through was really nice. Great job!

No worries
Edit : I also need to update the basement due to Majestic Mountains update, some paintings are clipping upon the alchemy lab.
