Apparently, I need to remind members that the Bug Report tab is not a place to complain about the lack of updates for this mod. I also seem to be required to remind our members that they are not entitled to updates or the mod author's immediate attention to their needs. If you are not familiar with our Terms of Service, take some time to get acquainted with them. Both of the aforementioned behaviors are covered by our ToS, as in "don't do this".
This mod is outdated, use this instead https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/92109?tab=description
DAR is dead, OAR is the replacement, it does basically the same thing as DAR did, but actually works, remember to read everything and update your VC Distributable
For whatever reason, the sprint animations are buggy with female vampires. After 3 steps the character will freeze while still strafing forward for the distance of 1 step, then start moving again for 3 steps and freeze 1 step, as a pattern. The bug might start after the Vampire Lord transformation. I will try Werewolf transform later to see if the bug is tied to the transformation or not.
I bet 1/2 of the bug reports because this mod (any many others btw) not telling straight how is it supposed to be installed? 1 With mod manager 2 ONLY manually 3 Doesn't matter the method
Many mods not installed on the proper way, because the description of many mods poorly written, hence the many bug reports... That's my 2 cents on it. I would try this mod but with the current description and the many bug reports it's looks like a plague or can of warms...
i use dar in gog 179 is work no crsh in 500+ mods or nything why the comment so lol, dont forget run nemesis if you use animation mods for dar useit lol
IsWornHasKeyword(ArmorHeavy) Keeps giving me an error in the log. It doesn't say what the error is, just that this setting in the _conditions.txt is an error. Is this function condition not actually functional anymore? I want my character to use different animations depending on if the armor is heavy or not. This seemed like a very simple, straightforward way to do it, but the IsWornHasKeyword function doesn't seem to work or be recognized. I tried multiple variations of it, too, like removing the "Is" from it, since the function in the actual game is simply WornHasKeyword, but that also gave the same error. The Random(0.5) or whatever number I use seems to work fine, at least.
More specifically, this is the error: error: actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\68800\_conditions.txt IsWornHasKeyword(ArmorHeavy)
is there a place that we can look for the Global variables for different skills, weapon types etc ?
the description page simply tells you what conditions you should put into the folders but doesn't give you a list of the variables (or global variables) that are required in that condition. you just have to get lucky and find a mod that has that condition already set up and copy and paste it.
if anyone knows a place where i can find the list of all variables, let me know. thanks.
found it out by myself. for anyone else who needs these codes, they are called Actor Value Indices, and are found here.
This is what happens when people keep giving Bethesda money for re-releasing the same game over and over. And now we're all paying the price for other people's stupidity.
OAR its not working for me, the same message as the Dynamic animation appers when running the game os SKSE loader. in fact it shows like OAR as Dynamic Animation Replacer, idk what to do, if someone could give a hand
